I know its not a religious discussion and you don't believe in the nitty gritty of dogma details, but I want to share this just as extra information since we have few references from early history. Exodus 5:2 and Quran 20:49 both mention Pharoah asking Moses about who God is. Quran then mentions Pharoah asking a second question, not in the Bible, about "former or first generations". Scholars have different views about what this meant exactly. Some of the translations: But to me, that's Pharoah asking the same question in your mind and my mind and definitely Grahams mind. And to me, that's also a sign from the Quran that these structures predate the Pharoahs, especially when taken in conjunction with many other verses spread all over the Quran that talk about former peoples and generations, with great footprint on the land, greater striking power, greater cities, replacing one people with another, repeating creation etc

This is exactly the different perspectives I was hoping for. "Mysterious Ways" I am not surprised we were led to the same conclusion via different paths.

Thanks for that. Just saw the show. It's insane how much of the views and information Tim shares about biblical information has complimentary information in Islam. Some folk will say Quran is a corrupted copy of the Bible but if you study both and then compare notes, you see how they fit like a jigsaw puzzle. Some random verses in the Quran without context - you can actually find the explanation in the bible. At the same time, you see the Quran answer some questions left unanswered in the Bible. Most stories match but with a few crucial differences which sometimes you can compare to measure accuracy. And then there are certain differences which clarify the theological concepts like demons, Nephlihim, transhumanism, etc. And the best rush is when you find it all tying in with all the new things science is confirming.

So your god wrote a book that you need to find an explanation from in another book? Which parts of the Bible do you believe in and why? You don't believe in Jesus being gods son, but you trust and believe other aspects of the book? Why? How does your brain do the mental gymnastics to "make" these things "fit like a puzzle"?

Hey! Glad you asked. I studied the bible in my teens and I still do now, at times. Even as a kid I knew intuitively that it was flawed because some things just didn't make sense or they didn't sit right with my heart. I'm sure you and everyone else has those feelings. Plus, even the church says its "devinely inspired", which is essentially an admission that its written by humans. And humans err. So there are definitely faults in it, but that doesn't necessarily make it all false. Some facts are definitely true for which we have archeological and documentary evidence from Persian and Roman sources. Theologically, I couldn't accept the concept of trinity, or God having a son, or the idea of three godheads being part of the same God, etc. To me, if there was a God, it would have to be one. Assigning family and associates was too similar to pagan concepts of polytheism where dieties have families and friends. I read the Quran in my 40s as a non-religious, somewhat blasphemous Agnostic, though I did lean towards the idea of a higher power. And it spoke to my heart and made sense to me. And I believe it to be the direct word of God, as it claims to be. Not everyone will believe it to be, but it's kind of sad that many don't even test it to judge the truth for themselves. Anyway, to me the theology made sense and it contained some information and facts that must have come from a higher power. And it's too perfectly composed for an illiterate man or even a computer to invent, because of the ring structures, the word count miracles, lexical nuances etc. So I believe in the Quran 100% as the direct word of God, uncorrupted and unchanged by human interference. And the Quran explains the inconsistencies of the Bible perfectly. I belive that holy books, containing the direct word of God, similar to the Quran, were given to Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus before the Quran. All of which contained the same message that there is only one creator, that life is a temporary trial and these are the rules, along with some rules and historical information for teaching purposes. However, each time these books were lost or edited by successive human scribes, rabbis and monks for their personal gain, influence and empowerment. This successive editing of the Torah (old testament), Psalms and New Testaments have left them a corrupted shadow of their originals. And thats why we find so many theological and factual inconsistencies, morally challenging interpretations, obvious copy pasting editing of the Q-code etc. All these facts mean that I'm skeptical about the information in the bible, but I do still quote it as a reference. This is for those that believe it and also for those that are smart enough to see links, even if they are corrupted. I won't go into derails but here's just one short example. Bible and Quran both say the world was created in 6 days. But the church has always said this is 6 literal earth days and God rested on the 7th day. Quranic version is not 6 earth days, but 6 periods or 6 stages and Quran says clearly that God was does not tire or need rest. That fits my personal concept of God much better.

The Quran and Bible say definitive things but then you say the Pharoah says something different. The Quran and Bible say your god created the Earth at a certain time without humans being on the planet. This passage discredits that. What part of the Quran or Bible do you believe and for what reason?

Actually Quran says humans were created much after the earth was created and fully functional. This is why I think you should read the Quran. That way you can try to find real faults rather than relying on second hand biased misinformation.

My Beliefs are quite complicated. I would put this somewhere after Creation of Earth, and before the Cataclysm of the End Days. Seems silly to try to view everything through the lense of an old book written by men. Which Is why I don't live my life like that. And I don't go around inserting religion(s) into every topic and post on this website like you seem to be doing now. You claim to not be religious, but every post you make now is about religion. I would question who is really living in a cage of religious thought, you or them?

Quran is pretty clear that there were previous civilizations that had greater military power, built greater cities and were stronger. It's also pretty clear that there are repeat cycles of civilization and creation. There's also a quote of Muhammad that says that at the end of our civilization only a few people will be left that will have lost knowledge and information and live like animals. So that fits perfectly with the theory I held since I was a kid that human species have probably been wiped out a few times and started again as cave dwellers... and that tales of previous civilizations would then become Myths and legends.

The Quran maybe clear about that but the Bible isn't. You pick and choose what to believe at different times when it is convenient to you.

I believe in the Quran 100% I quote the bible, even if I don't agree with it. If you read them yourself, instead of relying on misconceptions, you might do the same 😇 Peace 🙏

If you knew the secret to unlock the gateway to the under world. Would you do it ? The secret is in the pyramid, in the unused sarcophagus, with the 50 ton lid. You have to lay down in it and say the magic words. Then the gateway to the under world will be opened to you. But you might unleash goblins, retards, and skeletons with swords and shields.

Far in the past before Atlantis existed, men there were who delved into darkness, using dark magic, calling up beings from the great deep below us. Forth came they into this cycle. Formless were they of another vibration, existing unseen by the children of earth-men. Only through blood could they have formed being. Only through man could they live in the world. In ages past were they conquered by Masters, driven below to the place whence they came. But some there were who remained, hidden in spaces and planes unknown to man. Lived they in Atlantis as shadows, but at times they appeared among men. Aye, when the blood was offered, for they came they to dwell among men. In the form of man they amongst us, but only to sight were they as are men. Serpent-headed when the glamour was lifted but appearing to man as men among men. Crept they into the Councils, taking forms that were like unto men. Know ye that in the pyramid I builded are the Keys that shall show ye the Way into life. Aye, draw ye a line from the great image I builded, to the apex of the pyramid, built as a gateway. Draw ye another opposite in the same angle and direction. Dig ye and find that which I have hidden. There shall ye find the underground entrance to the secrets hidden before ye were men.
