Hello my brother. I will try to answer this for you in a way that's befitting your awesome name *logical.* I hope anytime anyone raises these absurd claims you will have the ammo to rebuttal because to me and probably all Muslims, it's such a easy thing to dismantle. This may be a long so please bare with me. I'll create a separate post for each claim. **%%Stabbings in European Countries%%** Below are three Qur’anic verses and three authentic hadith that demonstrate that deliberate killing of innocents or violence against non-combatants is completely contrary to Islamic teachings. These sources make it clear that acts like stabbings—as sometimes portrayed in Western media—cannot be equated with Islam: **Qur’anic Verses** %%Qur’an 5:32%% “Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption \[done\] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.” %%Explanation:%% This verse establishes the sanctity of human life, equating the killing of one innocent person to the killing of all humanity. It unequivocally prohibits murder, leaving no room for justification under any ideology or political motive. %%Qur’an 17:33%% “And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden \[to be killed\], except by right.” %%Explanation:%% This verse reinforces that taking a life is strictly regulated and only permitted under specific, just circumstances (e.g., legal execution or self-defense). It prohibits vigilante violence or terrorism %%Qur’an 2:190–191%% “Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors. And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah \[persecution\] is worse than killing…” %%Explanation:%% These verses permit fighting only in self-defense and strictly forbid transgression or harming innocent civilians. They emphasize that even in conflict, Islam sets boundaries to prevent indiscriminate violence. **Hadith** %%Hadith on Brotherhood and Compassion:%% The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” (Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim) %%Explanation:%% This hadith emphasizes empathy, mutual care, and respect, strongly discouraging any act of harm or aggression toward others—especially the innocent. True faith is reflected in concern for others’ well-being. %%Hadith on the Prohibition of Killing Non-Combatants:%% The Prophet (ﷺ) instructed, “Do not kill women, children, or those who are not participating in the fighting.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, authenticated by scholars) %%Explanation:%% This ethical guideline explicitly forbids targeting non-combatants, ensuring that violence is strictly limited to those directly engaged in aggression. It condemns indiscriminate acts like terrorism. %%Hadith Emphasizing Gentleness:%% The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Allah is gentle and loves gentleness; He rewards for gentleness what He does not reward for harshness.” (Sahih Muslim) %%Explanation:%% This hadith reflects the Islamic values of mercy, compassion, and gentleness, directly opposing violent or aggressive behavior. Brutality or cruelty is alien to Islam’s teachings. These Qur’anic verses and hadith provide a powerful rebuttal to claims linking Islam with acts of extreme violence, such as stabbings or terrorism. They clarify that Islam: **•Holds human life in the highest regard.** **•Permits defensive action only under strictly defined circumstances.** **•Demands compassion, mercy, and restraint in all dealings with others**. These teachings leave no room for the misinterpretation that violence against innocents can ever be justified in the Islamic tradition.

**%%Inbreeding in Certain Communities%%** These sources clarify that inbreeding is a cultural practice, not an Islamic one, and that Islam encourages marriages that ensure the health and prosperity of future generations. **Qur’anic Verses** %%Qur’an 49:13%% “O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another.” Explanation: This verse promotes diversity and healthy relationships, encouraging unions that strengthen social bonds and bring about healthy offspring. %%Qur’an 4:1%% “O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women.” Explanation: This verse emphasizes the importance of balanced family structures, highlighting the need for marriages that ensure the well-being of future generations. %%Qur’an 30:21%% “And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them.” Explanation: This verse underscores the importance of harmonious and healthy marriages, which contribute to the physical and emotional well-being of families. **Hadith** %%Hadith on Choosing Spouses Wisely:%% The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) advised, “Choose for your children the best of spouses.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 5090) Explanation: This hadith encourages selecting partners who ensure healthy and prosperous offspring, directly opposing practices that could lead to genetic issues. %%Hadith on Prohibiting Marriages with Close Relatives:%% The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Do not marry close relatives.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith 2050) Explanation: This hadith explicitly discourages marriages between close relatives, highlighting the Islamic concern for the health and well-being of future generations. %%Hadith on the Importance of Religious and Moral Character:%% The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “A woman is married for four reasons: her wealth, her lineage, her beauty, and her religion. Choose the one with religion.” (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 1463) Explanation: This hadith emphasizes marrying based on religious and moral character, ensuring not only spiritual compatibility but also the health and integrity of future generations. These Qur’anic verses and hadith provide a clear Islamic perspective on marriage and family planning: **•Islam encourages healthy and ethical marriages.** **•It prohibits practices that could harm the well-being of offspring.** **•It promotes diversity and the selection of spouses based on character and compatibility**. Inbreeding is a cultural practice, not an Islamic one, and Islam actively advocates for marriages that ensure the health and prosperity of future generations.

**%%Aggressive Nature, Terrorism, and Depictions of Islam in Hollywood/Media%%** These sources clarify that Islam is a religion of peace, compassion, and justice, and that any acts of terrorism or misrepresentation in media are distortions of Islamic teachings. **Qur’anic Verses** %%Qur’an 2:256%% “There is no compulsion in religion. The right way has become distinct from the wrong.” Explanation: This verse establishes the principle of religious freedom, rejecting coercion or force in matters of faith. It underlines that Islam cannot be spread through violence or aggression. %%Qur’an 60:8%% “Allah does not forbid you from being kind and just to those who have not fought you because of your religion or driven you out of your homes. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.” Explanation: This verse promotes kindness and justice toward non-Muslims, especially those who live peacefully with Muslims. It condemns hostility against innocents. %%Qur’an 16:125%% “Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is guided.” Explanation: This verse advocates peaceful and respectful dialogue, rejecting violence or aggression as a means of spreading Islam. **Hadith** %%Hadith on the Definition of a Muslim:%% The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand people are safe.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 6871) Explanation: This hadith defines a true Muslim as someone who ensures the safety and well-being of others, rejecting any form of violence or harm. %%Hadith on Stopping Oppression:%% The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Help your brother whether he is the oppressor or oppressed.” When asked how to help the oppressor, he replied, “By stopping him from oppressing.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 2443) Explanation: This hadith emphasizes the duty to prevent injustice and aggression, even when it comes from within the Muslim community. %%Hadith on the Importance of Gentleness:%% The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Allah is gentle and loves gentleness; He rewards for gentleness what He does not reward for harshness.” (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2593) Explanation: This hadith highlights the Islamic value of gentleness and compassion, which stands in direct opposition to violence or aggression. These Qur’anic verses and hadith provide a powerful rebuttal to claims linking Islam with terrorism, aggression, or misrepresentation in Hollywood/media. They clarify that Islam: **•Rejects coercion and compulsion in religion.** **•Promotes peace, justice, and kindness toward all.** **•Advocates for gentleness and compassion in all dealings**. Terrorism and aggressive depictions of Islam are distortions of its teachings, and these sources leave no room for such misrepresentations.

**Logical Breakdown of Terrorism and the Muslim Population** %%The Ratio of Terrorists to Muslims%% •Global Muslim Population: As of 2023, there are 1.9 billion Muslims in the world, making up 24% of the global population •Number of Terrorists: The most generous estimates (including fringe extremists) suggest there are less than 100,000 active terrorists globally. •Ratio: This means **less than 0.005%** of Muslims are involved in terrorism. Logical Conclusion: It is statistically and logically absurd to equate Islam or Muslims with terrorism when the overwhelming majority (>99.995%) have no connection to such acts. %%Victims of Terrorism%% •Primary Victims: Over 90% of terrorist attacks occur in Muslim-majority countries, and over 80% of the victims are Muslims •Example: Groups like ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and Boko Haram primarily target fellow Muslims, contradicting the narrative that terrorism is a "Muslim vs. non-Muslim" issue. Logical Conclusion: Terrorism is not only un-Islamic but also primarily harms Muslims, making it illogical to associate it with Islam as a whole. %%Islamic Teachings vs. Terrorism%% As demonstrated in the first rebuttal, Islam condemns terrorism and violence against innocents: •Qur’an 5:32: Equates the killing of one innocent person to the killing of all humanity. •Qur’an 17:33: Prohibits the taking of life except by just legal means. •Hadith: The Prophet (ﷺ) explicitly forbade harming women, children, and non-combatants. Logical Conclusion: Terrorism directly violates Islamic teachings, and those who engage in it are acting against the core principles of Islam. %%Media and Misrepresentation%% •Media Bias: Western media often disproportionately associates terrorism with Muslims, despite the fact that terrorism is not exclusive to any religion or group. •Example: Far-right extremism, white supremacist violence, and other non-Muslim terrorist groups are often underreported. Logical Conclusion: The media’s focus on Muslim extremists while ignoring other groups perpetuates a skewed narrative that unfairly stigmatizes Islam.

**%%Addressing the false claim about Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and pedophilia.%%** These sources clarify that such allegations are baseless, historically inaccurate, and contradict the moral teachings of Islam. **Qur’anic Verses** %%Qur’an 33:21%% “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah often." Explanation: This verse establishes Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) as a model of moral excellence and integrity, directly contradicting any slanderous claims about his character. %%Qur’an 68:4%% “And indeed, you are of a great moral character.” Explanation: This verse affirms the Prophet’s high moral standards, making it impossible to associate him with immoral behavior. %%Qur’an 49:6%% “O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance.” Explanation: This verse teaches Muslims to verify claims before accepting them, emphasizing the importance of evidence and rejecting baseless accusations. **Hadith** %%Hadith on Moral Character:%% The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “The best among you are those who have the best character.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 5210) Explanation: This hadith highlights the importance of good character in Islam and reflects the Prophet’s own exemplary behavior, which contradicts any immoral allegations. %%Hadith on the Prohibition of Slander:%% The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever falsely accuses a slave of committing adultery will be punished.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith 4881) Explanation: This hadith condemns slander and false accusations, reinforcing that baseless claims about the Prophet are unacceptable. %%Hadith on Justice and Truth:%% The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 6064) Explanation: This hadith warns against unfounded suspicions and rumors, which form the basis of the false claim against the Prophet. %%Historical Context%% The claim about the Prophet’s marriage to Aisha (RA) is often misrepresented. In 7th-century Arabia: •Cultural Norms: Marriages at younger ages were common and accepted across societies, including in Europe, where similar practices persisted for centuries. •Consent and Maturity: Aisha (RA) reached puberty before the marriage was consummated, as was the societal norm for determining adulthood. •Purpose of the Marriage: The union strengthened familial and tribal ties, a common practice in that era.Logical %%Moral Standards:%% The Prophet’s life is a model of morality, and slanderous claims contradict his established character %%Historical Accuracy:%% The claim ignores the cultural context of 7th-century Arabia and unfairly judges it by modern standards. %%Islamic Teachings:%% The Qur’an and Hadith explicitly condemn slander and false accusations, leaving no room for such baseless claims.

**%%Additional Rebuttal:%%** %%Aisha’s Role in Narrating Hadith%% Aisha’s Contribution to Islamic Knowledge after the Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) death, Aisha (RA) became one of the most prolific narrators of Hadith, playing a critical role in preserving and transmitting Islamic teachings. •Number of Hadith Narrated: Aisha (RA) narrated over 2,000 Hadith, making her one of the top narrators in Islamic history •Key Contributions: Her narrations cover a wide range of topics, including law, ethics, and personal conduct, providing invaluable insights into the Prophet’s life and teachings. %%Logical Argument%% If Aisha (RA) had been a victim of abuse or mistreatment, as the false claim suggests, she would not have dedicated her life to preserving and teaching the Prophet’s legacy. Instead: •Her Actions: She actively supported the Prophet’s mission during his life and continued to defend and propagate his teachings after his death. •Her Influence: She was a respected scholar and teacher, advising the early Muslim community and shaping Islamic jurisprudence. %%Hadith on Aisha’s Love for the ProphetAisha (RA) herself narrated:%% “The Prophet (ﷺ) was fond of me, and I was fond of him.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 5216) Explanation: This Hadith reflects the mutual love and respect between the Prophet (ﷺ) and Aisha (RA), contradicting any claims of abuse or mistreatment. **Absence of Accusations During the Prophet’s Lifetime and Early** **History** Lack of Criticism from Enemies during the Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) lifetime, his enemies, including the Quraysh tribe and other adversaries, never criticized his marriage to Aisha (RA). •Enemy Behavior: The Quraysh and others seized every opportunity to insult and undermine the Prophet (ﷺ), yet they never mentioned his marriage to Aisha (RA) as a point of criticism. •Cultural Norms: This silence indicates that the marriage was socially and culturally acceptable in 7th-century Arabia. Logical Conclusion: If the marriage had been considered controversial or immoral at the time, the Prophet’s enemies would have exploited it as a weapon against him. Their silence is a strong endorsement of the marriage’s legitimacy. %%First Accusation of Pedophilia%% The accusation of pedophilia against the Prophet (ﷺ) did not exist during his lifetime or in the early centuries of Islam. •First Appearance: The claim began circulating centuries later, primarily among Orientalist scholars in the 19th and 20th centuries •Motivation: These accusations were often rooted in colonial and Eurocentric biases, applying modern Western standards to 7th-century Arabian society. Logical Conclusion: The absence of such accusations during the Prophet’s lifetime and the delayed emergence of the claim expose it as a later fabrication with no historical basis.

**%%Islamists Desire to Take Over the World%%** Below are three Qur’anic verses and three authentic hadith that demonstrate Islam’s rejection of forced conversion, coercion, or global domination. These sources clarify that Islam advocates for peaceful coexistence and respects the autonomy of all individuals. **Qur’anic Verses** %%Qur’an 2:256%% “There is no compulsion in religion. The right way has become distinct from the wrong.” Explanation: This verse establishes the principle of religious freedom, rejecting coercion or force in matters of faith. It underlines that Islam cannot be spread through violence or domination. %%Qur’an 10:99%% “And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them entirely. Then, would you force people so they become believers?” Explanation: This verse emphasizes that faith is a matter of personal choice, and forcing others to convert contradicts Islamic principles. %%Qur’an 109:6%% “For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.” Explanation: This verse promotes mutual respect and coexistence, rejecting any notion of imposing Islam on others. **Hadith** %%Hadith on Coexistence:%% The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “Whoever harms a non-Muslim under Muslim protection or belittles them will have me as their adversary on the Day of Judgment.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith 3052) Explanation: This hadith emphasizes the duty of Muslims to protect and respect non-Muslims, directly contradicting claims of Islamic domination. %%Hadith on Justice:%% The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Beware, if anyone wrongs a non-Muslim, cuts down their rights, burdens them beyond their capacity, or takes anything from them without their consent, I will argue against them on the Day of Judgment.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith 3052) Explanation: This hadith underscores the Islamic commitment to justice and fairness for all, regardless of religion. %%Hadith on Forced Conversion:%% The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Do not force people into religion, for Islam is clear and manifest.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 1356) Explanation: This hadith explicitly prohibits forced conversion, highlighting that Islam is meant to be embraced willingly, not imposed. %%Historical Context Throughout Islamic history%% •Muslim Empires: Muslim rulers often governed diverse populations, including Jews, Christians, and others, without forcing them to convert. •Example: The Ottoman Empire protected religious minorities under the millet system, allowing them to practice their faith freely. •Purpose of Jihad: The concept of jihad in Islam is primarily about self-defense and resisting oppression, not global domination. %%Logical Rebuttal%% Qur’anic Principles: The Qur’an explicitly rejects compulsion in religion and promotes coexistence, making claims of global domination unfounded. Prophetic Teachings: The Hadith emphasize justice, protection, and respect for non-Muslims, directly opposing any notion of domination. Historical Reality: Muslim rulers historically respected the autonomy of non-Muslim communities, debunking the myth of Islamic imperialism.

Salam alaykum friend, and let me first compliment you on a fantastic username as well. When I made this post, there was a series of very **Immature users** coming into p/islam acting very disrespectfully. I had hoped for this to be a post for people from both sides to understand each other. I hope it has brought some understanding between cultures. A few others have already answered the mainstream narratives, but I thank you for spending this time and making these great series of posts and formatting it so well. You have explained things perfectly and left no stone unturned. Certain **Powerful dark forces** seek to Paint %%Americans and Muslims%% as enemies, I do not believe in this propaganda. As like you've stated much of Islam is very similar to White Christian Culture that the USA was founded on. My goal is to help grow Soj.ooO because I believe in freedom of speech. And I am hopeful this place can be a repository of knowledge, and not just another playing field for Flame Wars and trolls seeking to create and spread hatred, based on their lack of knowledge and fear. While I cannot stop idiots from coming into your pocha, maybe a few of them will read this first before Posting %%disrespectfully%%. And we can work together to change some minds. My intention was not to be a defender of Islam, I am not a Muslim. And have explained my faith in a different post here. You all can and have defended Islam perfectly fine on your own. It was meant to extend an olive branch of peace and hopefully show that not all White Americans hate Muslims, or Islam. As hatred does unfortunately work both ways. I also receive hatred from those who claim Islam simply for being a White American at times. Although I'd admit probably much less than Muslims receive. Thank you again for your time. 🙏

Thank you for your kindred spirit, we need more of this. It is so frustrating to have to constantly defend your faith ever since 9/11 up until now especially when you know your defending against people who did little to no research on your belief system. Its more frustrating when you know we have SO much more in common than people know. Yet people want to hold on to issues about a man that lived 1400 years ago and his marital affairs. We are voting for literal pedophiles in all our governments across the world yet we want to sit here and point fingers at someone from 1400 years ago. I dont get it. Especially for Christians, like we are quite literally waiting for the same Messiah to return. Why can't we say to each other, regarding our theological differences, "Hey lets drop it for now and wait for Jesus and he can clear it up for us". If only Christians understood how much we Muslims revere Jesus. My next child, If God wills, I will name Esa (Jesus). I pray for you and your family as you seem to have a very good heart. Maybe one day we will meet, maybe we will not, nevertheless keep being you my friend. May Peace Be Upon You.

This is what #AbrahamicMonotheism looks like. Those who want to be left alone to freely choose where they opt-in and opt-out. Peace be upon you- when we engage with others. No Compulsion- the expectation of others interacting with us. Self-defence when they transgress these peaceful limits. #QuranAlone chp 10 ver 99... Do you want to force the people to become believers? chp 39 ver 10... GOD's earth is spacious... chp 2 ver 190 You may fight in the cause of God against those who attack you... chp 2 ver 256 There shall be no compulsion in religion... chp 3 ver 104 Let there be a community of you who invite to what is good... Do you, as an individual, think the Jewish God, the Christian God, and the Muslim God, are one and the same? This seems impossible, yet the Pope assures us that they are the same. Is that praise to you, or an insult? Even for the non-believers, are they the same or what is your take on it? Peace.

Wa alikum @logical Alhamdulillah, I was fortunate to be born into Islam. Alhamdulillah means Praise God in Arabic. Has being Muslim been easy, no, but nothing in life is easy. Allah swt burdens everyone because this life is a test and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. He does not burden a soul with more than what that soul could handle. In regards to your questions, I see that @deletejuice and @q2025 have provided with great responses and information. There is no compulsion in acceptance of religion as it says in Q2:256 "There shall be no compulsion in \[acceptance of\] the religion....." Everyone born into this life is born a Muslim and then your parents dictate your faith, be it Muslim or convert you to otherwise. Humans have this innate inclination to recognize God's oneness. We call this the fitrah. For those, like q2025, who came back to Islam are known as reverts. Anyone leaving Islam have been converted out. There's a difference. Regarding the media's portrayal of the Muslims & Islam whether in movies or in the news, this was already foretold. The Prophet (pbuh) said "Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being strange, so give glad tidings to a strangers." People of no understanding will attack what is strange to them and they'll do anything in their power to villanize in hopes that a Muslim would assimilate to their way of life. Or as Allah swt says in Q2:109 "Many of the People of the Scripture wish they could turn you back to disbelief after you have believed, out of envy from themselves \[even\] after the truth has become clear to them. So pardon and overlook until Allah delivers His command. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent." I can't speak much about the stabbings in EU because I reside in the US. In regards to the cousins marrying one another, this is halal (permissible). Allah swt clearly spells out what is not halal (haram... prohibited) in Q4:23 "Prohibited to you \[for marriage\] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother's daughters, your sister's daughters, your \[milk\] mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursing, your wives' mothers, and your step-daughters under your guardianship \[born\] of your wives unto whom you have gone in. But if you have not gone in unto them, there is no sin upon you. And \[also prohibited are\] the wives of your sons who are from your \[own\] loins, and that you take \[in marriage\] two sisters simultaneously, except for what has already occurred. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful." Lastly, "Islamists desire to take over the world" - I mean taking over the world would be nice. If I took over the world, I'd be like Mensa Musa. Everybody would have their sustenance met and plus some. Islamist is desire to take over the world is laughable. In modern-day society, have you ever seen any 'Islamist" take over the world? By the contrary, it's the Western Hegemony has been dictating the terms of world domination. You have people like Klaus Schwab same things like - you will own nothing and like it.
