Salam alaykum friend, and let me first compliment you on a fantastic username as well. When I made this post, there was a series of very **Immature users** coming into p/islam acting very disrespectfully. I had hoped for this to be a post for people from both sides to understand each other. I hope it has brought some understanding between cultures. A few others have already answered the mainstream narratives, but I thank you for spending this time and making these great series of posts and formatting it so well. You have explained things perfectly and left no stone unturned. Certain **Powerful dark forces** seek to Paint %%Americans and Muslims%% as enemies, I do not believe in this propaganda. As like you've stated much of Islam is very similar to White Christian Culture that the USA was founded on. My goal is to help grow Soj.ooO because I believe in freedom of speech. And I am hopeful this place can be a repository of knowledge, and not just another playing field for Flame Wars and trolls seeking to create and spread hatred, based on their lack of knowledge and fear. While I cannot stop idiots from coming into your pocha, maybe a few of them will read this first before Posting %%disrespectfully%%. And we can work together to change some minds. My intention was not to be a defender of Islam, I am not a Muslim. And have explained my faith in a different post here. You all can and have defended Islam perfectly fine on your own. It was meant to extend an olive branch of peace and hopefully show that not all White Americans hate Muslims, or Islam. As hatred does unfortunately work both ways. I also receive hatred from those who claim Islam simply for being a White American at times. Although I'd admit probably much less than Muslims receive. Thank you again for your time. 🙏

Thank you for your kindred spirit, we need more of this. It is so frustrating to have to constantly defend your faith ever since 9/11 up until now especially when you know your defending against people who did little to no research on your belief system. Its more frustrating when you know we have SO much more in common than people know. Yet people want to hold on to issues about a man that lived 1400 years ago and his marital affairs. We are voting for literal pedophiles in all our governments across the world yet we want to sit here and point fingers at someone from 1400 years ago. I dont get it. Especially for Christians, like we are quite literally waiting for the same Messiah to return. Why can't we say to each other, regarding our theological differences, "Hey lets drop it for now and wait for Jesus and he can clear it up for us". If only Christians understood how much we Muslims revere Jesus. My next child, If God wills, I will name Esa (Jesus). I pray for you and your family as you seem to have a very good heart. Maybe one day we will meet, maybe we will not, nevertheless keep being you my friend. May Peace Be Upon You.
