I would argue that the Third Party is what got RFK Jr his position. If he would have ran against DJT as Dem or Rep he would have been chewed up and spit out. Yes, RFK did not run as Libertsrian but he was Independent. His message was gathering votes and it worked well enough DJT brought him in. Sell out or what not but that’s proof that your “Thrid Party won’t work and have proven not to every time” is false and Third Party is getting more attention, people are stepping away from and realizing the 2 party system is a Uniparty. Third Party is getting more attention, people are stepping away from and realizing the 2 party system is a Uniparty. As mentioned, the Radical Libertarians have the best approach to government (imagine what your version of a small limited government shrink that 100xs further) & economics. Respect the Free Market and bad products and businesses will dry themselves out due to customers not purchasing them. Limited regulations and restrooms of course we all understand not to dump chemicals into our water ways. I’m not saying to be dedicated to any party. I closely relate to Radical Libertarians, where some are more liberal and some are more conservative. Ayn Rand coined my type of people perfectly- Conservative Hippies. Again, check out Tom Woods and Dave Smith, they literally had a discussion about that very thing. We tend to defend ourselves pretty well when it comes to things like this. I agree we need to elect people who are not tainted with the lust for monetary gain and power. Try telling a Chimp not to fuck… doesn’t work to well. The greedy and lustfulness dont die out when Natural Selection takes back hold. Retardation will decrease but not by much, there is always at least 1 left. The greedy and lustful are cunning and very good liars. They survive no matter what.

Okay let me rephrase my sentiment because I think what you said is mostly correct (in my opinion). I'll clarify, third party could work as a solution. I do also think someone like RFK could have one as an independent if Trump was not on the republican ticket. The thing about RFK though is he was already extremely famous and wealthy, which as my hypothesis goes, are the two main necessities to run a successful campaign. My statement about joining a third party was simply that if someone with little budget and low name recognition joined the libertarian party, it wouldn't make a difference and they would never win. What this means is that being a libertarian third party candidate is not the answer to the question I am asking (which is how do we elect a candidate who will not sell out). I could see a reality where a third party does win, but they were funded by the usual suspects and are compromised. In that same breath, I could also see a reality where a good natured person goes viral and is crowd funded and refuses to take money from special interests and runs as a republican just to help get more votes. Obviously I would rather the second option as I think the main characteristic we need is someone who won't let money make his decisions.
