Pemmican, hard tack, and soup boullion cubes. I figure if it was enough to cross the Atlantic on a wood boat, it's good enough for me.

Pemmican is still harder on the teeth than mayo; it also takes a lot more time/energy to prepare than mayo. Hard tack can be hard on the teeth, especially cavities if not brushed quickly and often. One does not want toothache during prepper/war scenario. Soup boullion cubes will need fire; too much time/energy/fire hazard. Mayo is at least as much nutritious, and far more portable, and easier to prepare, without fire/cooking. Can be eaten on the go, far more readily than any of those.

Mayonnaise is vegetable and egg yolks. You will be eating it just as quickly as it falls out of your ass and down your leg.

Not true; I've been experimenting on mayo for months for several days a week; it didn't change my bowl habits, and I am already susceptible to IBS.

Oh damn bro youre for real, I thought you were just fucking with me. Well, if it works for you man, cool lol. You should try making fresh mayonnaise, it's a lot more palatable.

''Oh damn bro youre for real, I thought you were just fucking with me.'' I am 100% serious, as a military field ration for my army after the implosion. ''Well, if it works for you man, cool lol. You should try making fresh mayonnaise, it's a lot more palatable.'' True, but I am interested in mayo primarily as prepper food, especially as a filed military ration.

Have you considered freeze dried/dehydrated mayo, just add water?

No, it's more hassle than it's worth; mayo can be prepared so easily from egg yolk powder, butter powder, vinegar powder, honey powder, rice flour, all shelf-stable, why bother freeze drying? All in different portions depending on the needs, either stationary overwatch, or forced march in cold weather.

It doesn't have to be; one can make delicious, rich, creamy mayo, with butter powder. I would prefer butter powder, than regular oil which can go bad in several months, causing runs to the bathroom.

Mayo would be for field ration on the go; if I stay in one place for a while, my choice would be soba noodles, ideally prepared in Korean way. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/rGXDIHBgz-k

Eventually it dawned on me, as much as I like soba noodles, I would need something far easier to 'cook'/prepare (ideally, without any fire), to save time/energy, and something far more portable, and easier to control both the portion, and composition of calorie/nutrition, depending on the situation, with no dental problems (nothing to laugh at, in prepper/war scenario) Mayo can be customized on the fly, dry egg yolk powder, vinegar powder, butter powder, honey powder, rice flour, all shelf-stable, very calorie dense, can be mixed optimally depending on the situation/needs (stationary overwatch, or 10 to 20 miles forced march with full gear, in cold/windy weather). It covers all relevant nutritional needs, carb, fat, protein, Vitamin B12. It sure beats MRE, for both health, and military/logistics effectiveness. I will be experimenting different composition for my soldiers after the implosion. This will allow them to move quickly, with endurance/stamina, even in rough terrains, with as little logistics bottleneck as possible. https://www.npr.org/sections/thesalt/2015/06/18/414614705/appetite-for-war-what-napoleon-and-his-men-ate-on-the-march

Russians are the fondest of mayo than any other nations; I can see why. https://www.mashed.com/157373/the-most-popular-condiments-from-around-the-world/ Koreans also have something similar to Oliver salad; it combines raw sliced apples, boiled potatoes, and ham.
