Can't take credit for discovering this interesting info. I heard it from Kurt Metzger on a podcast, but is IS thought-provoking. Here is the ai overview: The title of "Doge" (also spelled "Doges") in Roman society is actually a reference to the Venetian Republic, not the Roman Empire itself. The term "Doge" derives from the Latin word "dux," meaning "leader" or "guide". In Venice, the Doge was the highest political position, and the head of state, elected for life by the Great Council. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Origin of the title: The title "Doge" originated in the Byzantine Empire, where "Dux" referred to a military commander or provincial governor. Venetian context: The Doge of Venice was the head of state, holding both executive and legislative power. Term of office: Initially, Doges were elected for life, but later, the office was subject to restrictions and surveillance. Role of the Doge: The Doge served as the head of state, commander-in-chief of the armed forces, and the head of St. Mark's Church, among other duties. Example: Enrico Dandolo, a famous Doge, was known for his role in the Fourth Crusade and the Sack of Constantinople. Legacy: The Doge of Venice was a symbol of Venetian power and unity, and the office eventually became primarily symbolic. The last Doge was Ludovico Manin, who abdicated in 1797. Not a sexy podcast very unbiased and sourced. This explains what happened in about the first fifteen minutes. What happens/happened with money appropriated and scheduled cuts. How the Congressmen and White House basked in the light of DOGE and let it go out and a pat on the back for Musk for trying.

"Boomers destroyed this country" Well, no corruption did. Lots of people worked and put money into the system just for corrupt people to take it by making promises to people who didn't contribute. Blaming all boomers for something is ridiculous. Corruption is inherit in human beings. You don't think war has sucked the life out of our economy? 2 trillion dollars was lost on 9/11 when a plane happened to hit the accounting department of the Pentagon. The elites did this.

The $2 trillion lost by the pentagon was mentioned by rumsfeld the day before 911. So it wasn't lost as a result of, it was memory holed as a result of.

I think I'm going to eat half of a crow here. DOGE was circus and Musk got a lot of data but wether he's a Transhumanist a Technocrat or an Alien I think he tried and wanted the cuts. For the little I learned about Technocrats it does seem that that fits their ideology. Now not only is NED declaring victory, they are not even goung to disclose what organizations they give money too. Between the White House going to sleep on it and Congress disappearing after photo ops it's dead. 3 pcs below

agree, lodged at $3 billion dollar Federal Transit Administration money laundering scheme through Jacobs Engineering into state and local government coffers that eminent domains millions of Americans and they ignored it were DOGE to follow through on End the Federal Reserve with Ron Paul, i'd think they were serious, but it seems like Elon's latest grift to further his own government contracts much like DOGE ironically was itself a younger me who grew up in the ghetto would say: "Elon Musk is laughing at all his DOGE supporters and his bitches be buying and lapping up all his shit"

I call bs on DOGE mainly because it is. Didn't the Continuing Resolution pushed through in March just guarantee paying nine more months for the previous eighteen months of Biden's policy/agenda? Unless I'm missing something on the possibilities of what DOGE can even do then I just don't get it. https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/1968/text. I can't sift through this mess

Any way you slice it, hundreds of billions of dollars IS, in fact, a lot of money. Downplaying that just because you don't think it's enough really misses the point. It really is important to be doing these things. We should have been doing them all along. More importantly, the amount of fraud in the entitlements you mention is enormous! If DOGE roots out all the abuse, these programs may not only be solvent, they might actually end up being cashflow positive. Frustration leads to hyperbole. Don't allow that to creep into your thinking, though. Everything DOGE is doing is really huge. It's just that we need \*even more\* huge things. But I honestly believe they're coming...

I said politically, it is nice what they're doing. Cutting funding to deranged leftists is good and effectively shutting down NGOs is good. The reality is, that the trillions of dollars that make up the deficit are not being touched and they more than likely will not make an effort to cut thee actual spending. Also, one trillion is a thousand billions, therefore it's just a drop in the bucket.

While i agree with everything you are saying let me play devils advocate. This is the first time in recent history the government is now fully admitting that waste and fraud exists. Tackling corruption has entered the mainstream zeitgeist, whereas a few years ago corruption was left to the corners of the internet and conspiracy theory. Now it is in the headlines, even the globalists cannot hide the public interest in solving the spending waste and fraud. Currently they are only finding pennies and theres a lot im sure they are purposefully hiding. But it is a step in the right direction. And hopefully it can break out into the shitlib leftys brains that the government is corrupt and not to be trusted. I am trying to stay optimistic that this will lead to bigger and better budget cuts eventually, and curting the size of the government in half.

I'm with ya, I have lost any functional ability to trust the government in my body. But i look big picture and say to myself, The alternative was Kamala and the headlines would be saying "Cut off your dick and mail it to china for a $1000 tax rebate" and "Trans rights matter" It could be worse and im glad trump won, it's a lesser of 2 evils. But we havent even had a decent option for president since ron paul. Which is why we need a new 3rd party, starting grass roots and getting likeminded individuals into local governments.

Nick Fuentes had a very good segment where he talked about how it would have been better if Kamala won, SOLELY for the fact that it might have pissed off people enough that we could actually get some shit going. Trump was sent in to placate the masses and make it seem like we’re “winning” so people would get excited to go back to war in the Middle East.

Although I agree it's great the zeitgeist is on the move, it is all by design. A bait and switch to wash out the old and bring in THEIR new... it's a story as old as time..

Well if "discretionary spending" adds up to billions, that's not nothing. I have always wondered, though... if they can just tell the Fed to print money then why are we paying taxes? The people at the very top don't need money, they are way past that. Their agendas and plans are way more important than money to them, I'm certain of it. They could bleed money for the next few generations and not even notice it. The importance of us paying taxes (when our fiat money is backed by nothing and worth nothing) must be more psychological. People like to tell themselves that they are a "good citizen" because they pay their taxes and those taxes guarantee that we have a safe and good society but I think that deep down everyone knows what could happen to them if they didn't pay their taxes and they know that they're being extorted at best and a slave at worst. I pretty much believe at this point that this whole system & reality are actually mental & spiritual and everything else is a tool or a prop and money is both.

They collect taxes to control the supply of money and to "control" inflation. Along with changing interest rates and selling bonds. They don't actually use taxes to pay for anything, it just goes to the interest rate on the gov debt. That's why it's cringe when people talk about their "tax dollars" paying for whatever

Prior to income taxes, which were initially only imposed on the wealthiest individuals, the federal government was funded by tariffs and was also much smaller

I just watched a Ron Paul segment talking about some potential $5k rebate checks from all the DOGE cuts and as much as we’d all love the extra money to get some bills paid off, it’s just going to create inflation because it doesn’t address the deficit at all
