At least from my understanding, the third temple is Christ's church. It's us, it's our hearts Ezekiel 43:9, 1 Corinthians 6:19. There is no prophecy of a third temple being built. There was prophecies of the temple being destroyed in the Olivet Discourse (Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 21). People assume that is a future prediction but it was fulfilled 40 years later in 70 AD. So as to why they are building a third temple? One reason is it keeps people focused on the future instead of present as well as realizing these things were fulfilled in the past. They are essentially using Revelations as a playbook as deceit which keeps everyone looking at this sign, or that sign and the temple is in some ways central to that. I don't know if they actually will build it or not, but the idea of it has captivating everyone. And keeping different religions/denominations fighting instead of focusing on what we are commanded to do by Christ. Love one another, Great commission, etc.

How about just be a good human and if there is a god judging you when you die stand before that god knowing you did the best you could. All this god and devil stuff is ridiculous. If you need a religious book to tell you how to treat humans, you may have an issue.

Before you read the Quran did you know how to treat other humans?

What defines "good" ...Without a outside source defining for humans what is good & evil then their would be no such thing as morality. The only thing that would exist would be human laws without accountability to any greater authority .. only the human created power structures, dynamics & laws would have any meaning or hold weight over or guide men's actions.....  A universe void of God, without absolutes external of human dynamics, would not facilitate or allow any kind of civilization beyond the animalistic cultures found in wild animals. This is part what makes humans different. Unlike animals, we do have and know,as part of our intellectual makeup, of our own responsibility accountability to higher laws external of our own that mitigate our immediate selfish, self centered personal agendas.  Survival of the fitest is not civilization it's animalistic and animals don't respect cognitive ability they only respect physical constraint & personal desire.
