You forgot a very important aspect... Who is allowed to vote. Recall that this was also outlined by the Founders.  There was a reason that not every and any person over the age of 18 could vote.  Call it racist, sexist, or any other -ist, but there's merit to not having someone who doesn't have the capacity and/or aptitude to read or write to vote for a candidate who is going to control how geopolitical decisions are made, or someone who doesn't pay taxes to vote for someone who promises them more money from the State's coffers...  
  
This is much more important than you think. Surest way to eliminate drugs on the street?  Stop people from using, it's not going after the drug dealers.  Stop the corruption in politics? Have voters with a vested interest that hold politicians (and judges) accountable. Many voters feel as if they don't have any impact.  It's like pissing in the ocean.  
  
How about "unfixing" the House of Representatives to 435? This number has been fixed since 1929.  Has our population not grown since then?  How can someone represent ~750,000 constituents in 2025 as well as a representative in 1929 who represented roughly 280,000 voters?  
  
Oh, and another thought for you to think about: Death penalty for anyone convicted of voter fraud/cheating.  Might seem extreme, but it has to be because the incentives are so skewed the other way you're a moronic politician if you don't cheat. With the government being the ultimate authority, if someone cheats and wins office, they can "legally" destroy people's lives and take everything from them. Therefore the punishment for such an infraction has to be set high as well for balance.
