Yes, for those areas not imploded, Port Angeles is a red city in a blue state. It will not implode, especially when it has deep water port as well, that can accommodate, heavy cargo ships/tankers. They can receive supplies/trade with overseas market for goods needed, and serve as hub/conduit to other areas of WA. Plus, the biggest oil refinery in WA, with direct pipeline from AK, and regular tank run is just a few miles away. It will not implode.

Ahh, so a dude with no shipping experience or life experience will be elected mayor of such an important place. I'm sure the emperor and free imperial cities will go over well in an implosion type scenario.

Kate Dexter, Mayor Kate Dexter has been a resident of Port Angeles for 12 years. Kate moved to Port Angeles from 2001 to 2003 and moved back again with her family in 2012. Kate grew up in Seattle and has always loved the Northwest.
