5\. My theory is that Sharon Tate lacked parents who gave her proper love and assured her of her beauty. So she had to seek the value she was never given as a child in famous men of high status. Yet she repeated the cycle of choosing men who didn't show her proper love. I wonder if this theory about her family not giving her proper love is true. If her parents really loved her, especially her father, why would she be so insecure? What do you think? Would you attribute insecurity to lack of parental assurance? Or is their something else to it? I'm general curious because I have a daughter and want the best for her. She is a beautiful girl and we make sure to give her a lot of love and assurance. I literally adore her and so she is confident and doesn't seek attention elsewhere. I think if she does something bad or choses a bad husband, we would be the ones to blame. Or if she ends up insecure, then we as parents did something wrong. So far she is a very good girl though and I'm not worried at all about her making bad decisions. She is self-confident. So I think something must have been missing with Sharon Tate. Maybe her parents were too busy chasing after money in California instead of paying attention to her? I feel like it is harder for women these days though with all the plastic surgery and technology showing pictures of perfect women all the time. It does not help women's sense of security. I don't think it was quite as bad back then, though where she lived could have been a factor... As for Polanski. Yeah he kind of got what was coming. He was also into some weird stuff, which you will find out later in the book. Like forcing Sharon Tate to have sex with other men while he watched. Which is just bizarre. What a weirdo. It's almost like such weirdo vibes attracted the likes of the weirdo Manson family. Like attracts like?
