Thank you for this; it really got me thinking so I’m just gonna let my ideas flow… I had a dream once where the Holy Spirit led me to an enemy base camp. There was a cabin in a forest, nondescript log cabin in the middle of nowhere. Upon entering the front door, there was a small room with three lamps on a credenza. A demon was standing next to another door hidden in the wall. He opened it for me and stood there, allowing me access to another room. I wasn’t scared but confused as to what I was doing there. The demon was grotesque but seemed to be more afraid of me than I was of it. He just held the door open for me and when I walked into the room, it was dark except for the light from a table in the middle of the room projecting a hologram of the world. I couldn’t see them but could hear demons hiding in the dark. I could sense the room was full of them but they were terrified of me. They were like cockroaches. It occurred to me that I was granted access to one of their war rooms. This is where they schemed and plotted. I left the room, passed the demon at the door, and stood in front of the lamps in the hallway again. The demon looked at me as if to wonder if I was done there and slowly went back to his business while I admired the light which I knew to be God. I don’t know why I’m telling you that except to say that I agree lamps matter. After reading what you wrote, I thought about myself as a lamp. I thought about lamps in my own house and how when I buy a lamp, I buy it for aesthetics. I take into consideration how the design of the lamp will fit into a room. Who designs a room around a lamp? No, I think lamps are bought with a room already in mind. So, alignment is important. Then, after buying the lamp, I figure out what kind of light I want to shine forth from it. I strategically pick the bulb. I always prefer soft, warm, yellow light. Then, I bring the lamp home and choose where to place it. I never put it on the floor. It has to have a prominent place in the room but it can’t be a focal point. No one puts a lamp in the middle of the room. People say, “Don’t put others on a pedestal” but isn’t that crucial? We all have to shine and lamps can’t do their job if they aren’t up high. Lamps have to be placed in a specific place. As vessels of light, everyone knows that the lamp isn’t the source of Light. Everyone knows the lamp can’t work if there’s no power running through it. Lamps are essential components of a space. No one walks into a room and ever notices the lamp. No one admires the lamp. No one covets the lamp but the lamp creates the tone, the mood, the atmosphere. As long as the power flows, the bulb does its job and illuminates everything else in the room. I think that’s how people should be: vessels of Light who are essential components of a room and who are happy serving without attention for themselves. The lamp never tells people what to see but only makes them aware that they can.

Oh yes, wonderful, thank you for sharing. As agents and creations/co creators with God, we are what's referred to in Hebrew as "Ner Hashem", a light OF God here on the earth. Even in a completely dark room where you can't even see your hand in front of your face, if you light a match it lights up the room. So even in the darkest times of this world that we are in, there are many of us, you included, who are 'ner Hashem's', lights of God in this dark world. In Judaism we understand that if there was no Torah, chas v' shalom, and no one saying prayers and reading Psalms, doing good, being charitable, etc. then the darkness would completely take over and all things would cease to exist. So man being a "ner Hashem" is a co creator in keeping things going in this dark world until Moshiach comes and all things are set straight. Again, thanks for sharing. Very powerful dream.

Well real judaism and kabbalah does not focus on the physical world exclusively, they are very spiritual. I've studied kosher kabbalah for years, it's enlightenment into the spiritual realms and brings you closer to the Creator. As for the so called Jews you mentioned, they're not really Jews, they claim to be, but are imposters and give a very bad name to the true Jews.

This group has been created to teach the Torah to the nations and it may not be a place for you if you are not interested in studying the morals for life and Judaism, Kabbalah, etc. So you can either stay in the group and learn or you can leave and not cause any arguments or division. It's up to you. You have the right to believe what you want whether right or wrong, but don't bring it into my group. I appreciate your decision.
