You are mocking quarantine protocol, and the only ancient culture that was guided that isolation stops plagues thousands of years before the invention of microscopes. Calling it "desert medicine" doesn't change the fact that while neighboring tribes were rubbing animal dung into wounds, the Israelites survived because they kept the sick outside the camp (Leviticus 13). Yelling "unclean" wasn't a magic spell, it was an ancient public health warning so you didn't accidentally contaminate your neighbors. It’s the bronze age version of a biohazard sign. The sacrifices weren't pagan bargains for rain, they were a psychological reminder of the heavy cost of wrongdoing, and the priests actually ate the meat. It was a community observance with strict moral boundaries. You are furious that a ancient text uses ancient language instead of a 21st-century medical textbook.
