You aren't getting it at all. Here is his claim, which he's made in a few ways many, many times. https://soj.ooo/p/trolls/post/c1da55834919572ce8a1263dad4657c0/comment/147857

"Everything today is labeled as good and bad and then entities such as gods or devils are given responsibilities for the labels of good or bad, instead of the HUMANS doing the actions."

Is this clear?

He's saying that sentence is an accurate representation of what you and virtually everyone else believes.

And according to him, that's the reason he's always tossing the word "human" into the mix all the time. Because he thinks you don't know that "humans" are responsible for their actions.

And, I'm honestly torn if he is actually stupid enough to believe this video constitutes evidence that he's right.

He's definitely smart enough to realize that he has to pretend that he didn't set up a logic chain which fails if any links are missing.

So, he pretends that if people generally claim some "belief in god", then whatever characteristics he's assigned to that belief are automatically true.

Part of his problem shows up in the language choice "...labeled good or bad..." which encapsulates the idea that reality is merely what you can call it without being shouted down while simultaneously dismissing the idea that good and bad can have any meaning beyond having been used as "labels".

What follows from that is his attempt to label "belief in god" and to assign characteristics with no reference to reality.

Clearly, if there were any widespread religious belief, in any denomination, which mirrored his claims it would be quite extraordinary. Equally clear is that no society can EVER operate based on the principle that people are not responsible for their actions.

And when challenged to show any religion which teaches this, any religious figures who teach this he slips and slides and dissembles and lies and gaslights.

And my honest opinion of why you don't get that that's what he's saying is that it's literally too stupid an opinion for you to actually believe anyone actually has.

I was not against blocking per-se. I did not advocate for it, and I did tell people they had the option to ignore others. If there were no blocking feature I'd not ask for it. Now that it's here I'm not going to advocate against it. If it goes away I'll have no complaint about that either.

I did make the suggestion that the block should be binary in nature, primarily in response to neo tormenting cow by blocking him and yet being able to continue to plague him despite the block. Since I haven't seen cow since I blocked him, I can only assume my suggestion was acted on.

As far as cow goes I genuinely am concerned for his physical well-being. He needs some kind of shock to the system to give him a signal that he's heading down a bad path.

I'f my responses to him were giving him some element of stability in his world, then he needs to see that it's been his choice all along in how he chooses to cultivate those interactions.

He's quite literally chosen to be a bad person. Defective.

He desperately wants to be smart without doing any of the work involved in being smart. I've got a kid just like that. In all actuality, plenty smart, but there's some sort of disconnect between effort and reward expectation.

The smartest thing you can do is realize you're wrong, or at least potentially wrong. Cow can't do that.

He's got this idea that is obviously entirely his, which I think just came to him like a bolt from the blue. And it's wrong. It's not wrong in the way that 5+8 is thought to equal 27 or somesuch. It's wrong on the level of literally nothing the idea would predict is actual.

And he knows he's wrong. He actually knows it.

But, the way he sees the world from his perspective, virtually everything is simply happenstance and persuasion. Basically everything seems to him like something that "just is" because people agree that it "just is".

The world looks like a series of magical spells that were successful. If you pay attention to his wording used in his responses and posts you can see it for yourself in the peculiar way he words things. Those aren't unfortunate choices of words. They're assumptive and manipulative.

As it stands I'm treating him as though he were my son. I won't put up with him, and the people who will put up with him are by definition people he does not respect.

I'll restate that more baldly. In his mind he's a piece of shit. Anyone who puts up with him is someone who can't tell he's a piece of shit.

In short: Anyone who puts up with him is a fool. In his mind. Because he'd never put up with someone like him.
