I identify as some kind of culinary genius but baking has always somewhat scared me, too much foresight required and no mid dish editing… but I think I’m going to try those when I decide I like myself enough to make me something sweet. they seem less intimidating.

There are some baking recipes that are very easy and almost failproof to start with. Check out some quick (batter) bread recipes, on of my faves is beer bread and you can add to it easily if you want to savory it up some, with herbs or such. Cornbread is another easy to make and to add to or spice up or whatever, but make it from scratch not a box, it's really easy and much better.

Never from a box! Part of my rebellion is not eating processed foods and cooking from scratch, sourced from local farmers when ever I can
