Boat makes more sense than people walking through snow.

A boat is far more complex than walking I disagree

I agree it's complex. IMO humans discovered buoyancy before fire, as water is more immediate to our survival. Boat is more natural and closer tech evolution in early human civilizations. The groups who came to America before columbus may have made the journey, but didn't adapt to the new environment or were killed by the natives. Or they assimilated with the natives and their blood were promptly diluted to nothing. Boating over can be achieved in one lifetime, whereas the journey by foot would take generations.

I’ve researched it and mostly dismissed it like the whole Terrance McKenna cult. I do like mushrooms though

What is that called the Stoned Ape theory? and the whole Amanita muscaria Santa Claus connection, or maybe those are 2 separate mythos. I think the aquatic ape thing could be a possibility. But I find it unlikely that all humans came from the water. Possibly there is some ad-mixture from an aquatic ape in modern humans. But I find the whole thing unlikely. Webbed fingers and toes and vestigial tails can be explained without an aquatic ancestor. And the cases are so limited.

I’m leaning towards a multiple species of humanoid being more of a thing to explain the shared myths of giants, dwarves, fairies, elf’s, etc. there are multiple phenotypes and blood types. and the whole out of Africa or single seed of man doesn’t quite make sense to me.

yeah this is what I lean towards too. Look at the Polar bear/Grizzly/ Brown bear/Black Bear hybridization. There are lots of other examples of this where close species can interbreed, Liger etc.

I’m 6’6” and struggle to get over 170lbs but am healthy and arguably stronger than most people with my body type and when people ask I tell them it’s high elven from my dad’s side. he looked like a high elven from lord of the rings almost bird like and his eyes changed colors.

Hah! we come from opposite phenotypes but come to the same conclusions. I am just over 6' but struggle to get under 185. I hit 6pack at ~180lbs and look like a skinny chicken at that point. Somewhere I posted my theory that Filipinos and Mexicans are the end product of evolution. Where they are separated by 8500+ miles. But from both ends of the globe the end product was the same. So much similarity in cultures, food, personality, Looks, hard working, family oriented etc.

I’m half. Stay ripped naturally of just from work, I can bulk up but I have to hit the gym religiously and haven’t done so since basketball in college. I wish I could hold weight but it seems my resting weight stays steady even if I eat all day everyday

Thank you! 🙏🏽 it can suck when the people around you fundamentally don’t get you but I’ve come to learn that the only thing you can really be more of is yourself, for what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?

Ooo… love this! @lodical directed me here. I need to chase this rabbit, do you have some resources you could share? I’m of the ancient American chain of thought, and have encountered many ideas that suggest more of an infiltration than a discovery that I agree with far more than what is taught in school.

I would look into Cherokee Mythology (moon eyed people), Irish Ogham writing, moundhill sites throughout Eastern America, especially serpent mound in Ohio.
