Amen. That part where he says deny yourself...thats what I mean when I say put your ego in the passenger seat, or take yourself out of the way, or empty as much as you can of yourself out of the vessel. I believe Jesus is talking about the concept that we call "ego". Its your sense of self, the one that the world programmed you with. And satan is the ruler of this world, so he steers egos into becoming a barrier between us and God. That "person" that is your worldly sense of self is an illusion, but being stuck in the flesh prison, we naturally assume that is "self", and obey it. Basically, if you are thinking and using your senses and mind, you are coming from self. If you can shut that off by recognizing what it is, and go off of your intuition and feeling that it is suppressing, then there will be a whole lot less static on the line, bc those vibes are more resonant with the spiritual than thinking and sensing are. Follow me? Really, we are the children of God now. Grafted into Israel, as believers of the Gospel, and we are able to share in His inheritance, thru the new covenant, that Jesus secured with His death and resurrection. He's now the King of Kings, and we are adopted in spiritually as his brothers and sisters as true believers. Thats really why the "Jews" hate us, as christians especially. They dont want to share their claim to supremacy by being the "chosen" people, Israel. They don't believe our claim thru the blood of the Messiah is valid. Well in the New testament, the real reason they hate it, is bc it says if they dont believe in Jesus, then their branch was broken off of the olive branch, while we were grafted into it. The olive branch represents spiritual Israel, those under the covenant. So really we have become the chosen people, Israel, by adoption, and they have been disowned for denying Christ. This really pisses them off, and they hate us for thinking it, but thats the way you should see yourself. Not as a mortal man. The flesh and ego are just a side effect and illusion of the curse. Recognize that in you and see it for what it is, then it's much easier to separate your true self from your "ego" self. People go searching for "ego death" from ayahuasca and psychedelics and chemicals, but you can't kill your ego with those, its part of the flesh. You just reset it with those things somewhat, but then you're still stuck with an ego. Just a new one. Best to just recognize the one you got, and put it into submission. Then you can humble yourself enough to find the only true ego death, which is being born again thru Jesus Christ, and finding your true identity as a child of God. It's kind of a hard thing to explain without sounding to woowoo, but I'm trying. Lol

I understand what you are writing even though my thoughts and maybe where I am are more disjointed. The New Testament is inspiring despite what new converts were facing: 2 Timothy 4:7, where he says, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." It must be freeing once one can focus on the spiritual and not covet the worldly things. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” The nation of Israel seems always had a turbulent relationship with God and it is a lesson for everyone reading the Bible. Acts 7:51-52 New International Version 51 “You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit! 52 Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him— I fail to see why jewish people would want to live in Palestine unless it is to fulfill the antichrist prophecy and I can't think of things that paint their culture in positive light. I was never sure why people experiment with certain substances. I was never eager to see if there is something I might not be able to say no to. Always thought they can only make the mind more susceptible and less healthy. I never thought it was to lessen the ego burden. And anytime I heard what people experienced while taking ayahuasca it was very concerning. It does appear to change some people for life, to put it mildly.

I left a post in the christian pocha where I explained my take on the 3rd temple, and how I too believe they are reigning in the end times, except they call it "The Messianic Age". Someone asked what I thought about the abomination of desolation. Its not irrelevant to stuff we've been talking about. I tried to include the context necessary for it to make sense. https://soj.ooo/p/christianity/post/4d055a2c3dcf2cdc632b3d9eeee89f42/comment/23508 I think The Messianic Age what Trump is referring to as "The Golden Age", which is a term that was coined by Alice Bailey, one of the creators of the modern new age movement. She started a company called Lucifer Publishing. Today it's called Lucis Trust. The seeds these people have sown over the years are getting ripe. I did alot of drugs myself back in the day. Smoked alot of DMT, lots of acid n whatnot, but it played a big part in my about-face too. I have some interesting stories, especially from the DMT. I don't recommend it, it's not just fun and games, there is some spiritual stuff going on there, but I had a lot of fun while I was doing them. Honestly, it's not a big deal, as long as you are sane. If you have screws loose tho, then you may not come out the same. They do change people at least a lil bit, but it usually in the direction of creativity and spiritually. They can be a catalyst for people to find Jesus. It can help you to understand how there's a spirit realm that overlays ours, which will make you search for answers. Jesus can absolutely meet you there. But trying to find God that way can lead you in a very wrong direction too. I was baptized when I was 10, so I've always had Jesus, and I believe that he is the only reason that I made it thru the fire. Unscathed too. I think it was all part of the plan, but I don't recommend going that route.
