You should post more of these. Just a friendly suggestion. I think the Nazis had the coolest looking medals oit of all the axis and allies. I remember as a kid, visiting ww2 vets at their homes, and in their basements were vast collections of ww2 artifacts.... medals, knives, helmets, swords, hats you name it. One guy even had a Bren gun just sitting out in the open. (Full automatic very illegal lol). I remember seeing medals given to german married women who received a bronze, silver or gold, depending on how many kids they had! But id have to say the officer daggers/long knives were my favorite... very well made and beautifully decorated... every little piece had its meaning apparently, all depending on what the officer preformed/accomplished in his duty...
