Yeah I'm gonna go see obsession this weekend cos it seems to be more open ended in terms of plot, and conflict, so I imagine I won't need to hear a hundred different takes of everyone who thinks they figured it out. And I just love horror movies and the fact that two highly anticipated horror films are both killing it in the theaters simultaneously is pretty awesome and I gotta go and support them. Also I liked the short horror films I've watched of curry baker on YouTube (the chair, milk & cereal) and he's clearly a talented young director

Yeah search them on YouTube, pretty sure he got his start making short films on YouTube, and some studio gave him a shot to make an actual movie, and he did so with a 700,000 dollar budget and has since its release far exceeded the cost in ticket sales, obsession and backrooms are both doing much better then the multi million dollar star wars film also in theaters, so definitely a win for independent amateur director debuts.
