Wasn't his dad CIA? With the trafficking allegations and this pedo stuff tate was probably trained by his dad... my guess. CIA and trafficking go hand in hand.

My understanding from his interview with Tucker, his father was USArmy, I think, but military for sure. That being said, his mother took him and his brother back to England when he was pretty young, beginning of school age, I think. And he didn't seem to have much if any further contact with his father. Of course, depending on your opinion of the individual take it for what it's worth.
