There are 2 types of people on this planet: 1) Those who are willing to die for their cause 2) Those who expect others to die for their cause You are clearly the latter.

You make some dumb assumptions, but whatever. When I was in high school, our country went to war, and I chose to enlist in the Army. My grandfather and father were both combat veterans, and I saw it as my turn to serve - to step up and protect what they fought for. The fighting was over before I got out of basic training, and I didn't go to combat, but I was willing to. I've always liked to fight. For me, America's military strength isn't about conquest; it's about preserving the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution, which remains the supreme law of our land. Maintaining that dominance ensures our sovereignty, our way of life, and the ability of future generations to enjoy the same liberties we do. I believe that's a cause worth defending-whatever it takes. I understand that not everyone sees it the same way, and in today's climate, where haters gobble up anti American propaganda and it trendy to parrot that garbage, views like mine can be unpopular. That's fine, I'm not looking for approval. What matters to me is staying true to the values I swore to uphold. If someone genuinely believes a weaker America or less resolute defense of our principles would make the world (or our country) better, I respect the right to that opinion, even if I strongly disagree, but I won't apologize for believing that freedom isn't free, and that sometimes it requires sacrifice and strength to keep it.
