We all need to believe in something, otherwise what is the point of our existence? I have chosen a path of faith instead. To ideologues, I probably look like the crazy mental slave because I believe in God. The difference is with faith, the fear is not of this world but an afterlife deprived of His glory (bringing with it a sense of interior joy and peace). Those who are ideologically captured believe that everything is an existential crisis and it works up a rabid fear within them because they have nothing after what exists in the here and now. Apologies, went off on a tangent there.
