I learn something new every day: "**The Carolina Reaper chili pepper** \[developed by American breeder Ed Currie\] **was the hottest chili pepper in the world** according to Guinness World Records \[2013 to 2023\] **before it was surpassed by Pepper X**, . also developed by Currie." . "**The ghost pepper . is a superhot chili pepper** cultivated in Northeast India. In 2007, Guinness World Records certified \[it\] was the world's hottest chili pepper, 170X hotter than Tabasco sauce ... & far surpasses the . cayenne pepper. However, in the race to grow the hottest chili pepper, \[it\] **was superseded by** the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T pepper in 2011, **the Carolina Reaper** in 2013 & Pepper X in 2023."

As an aside @sonatime @logical, it's been 3 weeks (Aug 16) since I emailed three soj addresses, support, safety, & tech. I've heard nothing back. You guys & thoughtcriminal seem to run things here, especially logical, but logical says he has nothing to do w/the owners. There is no support here. There's no one to give feedback to. The "owners" don't find it worth posting on & have abandoned it? What is the purpose of this, then, to subvert & demorlize Americans & Christians? Is this just another place for the global thought police to surveil us? Three weeks, no response from support, safety, or tech 🤔

I don't think they have abandoned the site but I think they claim to take weeks to answer some inquires. I have seen Matt respond when tagged but I don't know if that will speed things up for you. I don't know if anyone here is active from support and worth approaching. Do they still have a chat when doing a podcast, maybe try contacting a mod there

I think putting drugs in something that is considered safe to eat is akin to booby trapping your property and against the law. But... one could put chilies in the food:) As annoying at it is, the low level stuff probably should be forgiven

Agreed. It reminds me of a burglar who sued a homeowner for injuries sustained during a burglary: . Christopher Coble, Esq, explains "**%%premise liability rules%%**, \[where\] **homeowners are sometimes liable for injuries suffered on their property.** %%The level of responsibility varies%% **depending on the type of person injured**." For example, "homeowners have a duty to take reasonable steps to assure that the property is safe for **the %%invitee%%**;" & "to protect **%%licensees%%** from known dangers" (licensees, "with the consent of the homeowner enters property for their own purposes"). OTOH, **%%trespassers%%**, including burglars, "**do not have permission or a lawful right** to be on a homeowner's property," **so "generally" there's** "**no duty**" to protect them. **But, there are %%exceptions%%:** "K**nown trespasser** -- Homeowners can't possibly anticipate a random burglar coming into their home. However, if there are signs of a frequent trespasser, **the homeowner does have a duty to warn** about known dangers on the property. "**Booby traps** -- Homeowners can be sued for willful & wanton conduct that injures a trespasser... "**Deadly Force** \-- While you may be able to use deadly force to defend your life in some states, **you can never use deadly force to protect personal property**."
