I was going to a free clinic here in Canada during the pandemic, getting anti-depressants. Usually saw the same doctor(s), then one day I got a doc from like, Pakistan, with one of those cookie tin hats, flat on top. Dude put me on amphetamines. Pretty sure he was a shaman. I was on them for like, 3 and a half years. Never saw that guy again. I had to see a doctor to get refills every 30 or 90 days, whatever they felt like writing. Not gonna lie, it was pretty awesome. But if I missed a day... I think I'm even more prone to anger and acting out now. Quit cold turkey.
