I think you misunderstood my question. We both now agreed that religious authority figures change texts for their wicked benefit. My personal perspective here is that after centuries have passed, one can logically arrive to the conclusion that after so many changes and re-interpretations in the bible, the truth is lost, and what you have left is remnants of that truth, used to continue the cycle of deception through re-interpretation. From my perspective, when discussing religion, I think is best to put the bible aside, examine and challenge one's own perspective for a sound argument. I am not interested in what the bible says or the ideas or interpretation it provides. I am looking for your personal perspective of what you learned in the bible, and a sound argument as to why you believe what you believe. Thank you for being open to discuss such a controversial topic, and I am happy to hear that this does not make you uncomfortable. I appreciate it:)

No apologies needed here. I appreciate your willingness to engage. I could see how my attempt to clarify what I was asking you about the bible may have not been worded clear enough. Now, we both agreed that the original stories of the bible/Quran are lost, but how much (about (20%, 50%, or 90% etc.) of the original story do you think is true after so many centuries have passed, and it's been cycled with many re-interpretations, maybe hundreds of times or more by countless authoritative figures? You stated,"but don't believe the narrative and don't trust the story tellers." So, who do you believe, if you cannot trust the narrative, nor the storytellers?

Oh my, I'm so sorry I subjected you to such a long read while totally missing the point and preaching to the choir. The bible, to me, is like the pyramids. We know we don't know everything and we're missing some vital information while we've been fed opinions as facts, by both the mainstream archeologists and the conspiracy theorists. But that doesn't take away from the fascination one bit. The great pyramid might be a shadow of itself, but if the shadow is so impressive, imagine how amazing the original was. So what are two undeniable facts we are left with? one, the creator must have been amazing, far above what we thought... and... the official version is a lie. Thats exactly what I learnt from the bible as well. The Creator must be unimaginably great if even its distorted shadow is great after millenia, but don't believe the narrative and don't trust the story tellers. But that's just me, maybe.
