That makes sense, it being both a warning of weakened faith + a signal to change. That is fair. Also never knew the Hadith had a rigorous way of being authenticated. Got curious and looked up the different Hadith category types including what you mentioned:  A few of these might be less commonly used, but pretty cool. And thanks for explaining!

Yes, the science of hadith is very deep and the scholars of Islam specializing in hadith have done amazing work. The methods and criteria they collectively devised for testing the authenticity of a hadith are so stringent that werewolf to apply them to other historical events, we'd find that most historical reports cannot be verified and that most historians and chroniclers cannot be trusted.
