''Then you're conflating Logic and Action: The scenario confuses logical reasoning with immediate, life-saving action. In a burning house, the priority is safety, and the father's decision is driven primarily by instinct. He doesn't necessarily have to have a good little think about it, does he? Good parents don't need to think about whether or shouldn't I should protect my child, it's not necessarily a detached logical deduction.'' - devnm23 ''Dude, are you implying parents trying to be good parents does not have to do with logic?'' - Hyok Kim '' In a burning house, the priority is safety, and the father's decision is driven primarily by instinct. He doesn't necessarily have to have a good little think about it, does he?'' - devnm23 ''Why is the priority the safety in a burning house? Is there anything illogical about it?'' - Hyok Kim ''Uff you such a loony tune. An independent reason based argument is about premises firstly thereafter one can link it empirical evidence. As for your example on human being deciding on whether or not to allow his daughter to search for her doll isn't a logical argument it's a hypothetical scenario badly dressed as one. You're conflating hypotheticals with logical argumentation. The scenario, not argument, is said in such a manner to evoke a strong emotional response. it relies heavily on emotion and a dramatic hypothetical situation rather than presenting a clear, reasoned connection between premises and a conclusion.'' - devnm23 https://thehoya.com/uncategorized/intellectual-masturbation-rubs-me-the-wrong-way/ 'I said “Logical arguments don't force one to suddenly start believing in God or the Abrahamic faiths; it's a personal decision” - devnm23 ''Are 'logical arguments' supposed be based on personal decision? What if the person making his personal decision is irrational and/or insane?'' - Hyok Kim ''Logical arguments and personal decisions are separate matters.'' - devnm23 ''Are they necessarily? Some believe in logical arguments; some don't.'' - Hyok Kim ''Human beings aren't solely logical creatures that a logical argument compels them to make a choice.'' - devnm23 ''Some do! Are you implying no one feels compelled to make a choice based on logical arguments?'' - Hyok Kim Dude, you're getting short winded this time around; try harder, please. Maybe too much mental jerking off; fingers too tired? Eyes going blind?

I'm finding you hilarious at this point. Most of what you post is copy and paste and your complaining about the brevity of my reply? Most of your reply is my reply. Again no engagement with the subject matter I suspect because you are incapable. Again do you see a pattern although your point is irrelevant I've engaged with it and proven it false. I'm wondering perhaps you are the girl in the burning building analogy unable to engage critically with the situation running towards her lost doll in the fire. So in your case the doll would be perhaps your sanity because you've clearly lost it and the fire can be logical argumentation since you have clearly been burned repetitively by simple reasoning.
