There's no language barrier, there's a sincerity barrier. I considered you as an atheist/agnostic because of your against the motion stance in the Proof of God post. But well... it turns out you are a polytheist. I have already explained how you changed goal posts. I cannot possibly change the goalpost when it was you who started the conversation with a claim against Islam where I simply responded. And yet again, you have now changed the goalpost back to "Islam bad"..."islam god genocides". Where's the proof? I haved asked this before & asking again: \- Show me where we are commanded to kill innocents left n right from Quran or sahih hadith. \- Explain how Jews and Christians lived unharmed for 800 years under Shariah rule in Spain. Coming to your definition of evil, if a definition isn't encompassing of all cases, then it's simply incorrect or incomplete. You can not walk away by vaguely defining a square as something with 4 sides in mathematics. Like I said, no one can define evil objectively outside religion. Good n bad have no universal objective meaning. And the examples I gave were to show how your definition is wrong, they weren't my definition of evil as you thought. And your definition of evil doesn't "easily" explain those examples. In fact, by your definition, they aren't even evil. Don't agree? Then explain.

I will suggest there is a language barrier, and you can deny it if that pleases you. No worries. However, it is good for you to acknowledge your lack of sincerity. Keep working on it...it is worth it. ;) Good humor on tap. I did not change any 'goal posts'. Not sure you are using that term correctly. You opened this post about a strong Iman...faith. And I am questioning the 'usefulness' of that faith. I am not questioning her faith...she seemed distraught and full of faith. I am not questioning your faith either. I respect your faith but I question the usefulness. I am against the genocide that is happening in Gaza. The prime idiot of Israel has said his God is a vengeful God....and here we are...with a genocide in Gaza. Like many others, I do not understand how they can be said to be the same God, but that is where your 'faith' comes in. The God of one people, killing other people....brutal...absolutely brutal. We can feel for the woman weeping for her children. But if we do, does that mean we have to support and agree with her faith? That does not seem reasonable to reasonable people. This is a really contentious issue, and not easy to discuss at any level. I am not attempting to make light of your faith. Even though I joke about language a lot, that is because the language itself has become a bit of a joke when so few are interested in the nuances of grammatical and sematic patterns and how little changes make vast differences. Peace.

Anyone who finds this thread will be a judge of wheather the barrier is of language or sincerity. Throughout the thread you have stated/implied 2 things: 1\. God of Islam is genocidal who commands to kill anyone following a different faith. 2\. We don't need religion to objectively define morality or evil. In response, I have asked you for the proof of your claim & definition of evil as per your understanding. In the end, you avoided & refused to answer 2 key questions: 1\. Where in Quran or sahih hadith are we commanded to blatantly kill innocents of other faith? 2\. How do you decide if the situations I presented as examples are evil as per your definition? It seems that you have a lot of opinions about Christianity which you are projecting on Islam. But there's no substance behind the words.

Yes...let others decide for themselves on what was and still is written in this thread. There is no sense continuing. I don't think we are communicating effectively. Peace.
