Parent Post: That Netflix "hit" show 'Adolescence' seems like a psyop just based on the discourse around it

I am not attacking your points, but help me understand one thing - why do you think something which goes against your beliefs is a psyop while something which fits your beliefs is not? In other words, why do you believe a show promoting psilocybin is revolutionary when it's very much possible that it's use is being promoted so that people buy more products from big pharma to cure the side effects from that drug? I am not implying anything, just want to understand - what do you base your conviction on when you believe something is a psy-op?

Just to further clarify: Psyop is propaganda designed to further push a worldview or narrative. I suppose I treat them as very similar concepts; they're pretty much synonomous. Hollywood and its international arms don't spend money on art for art's sake.

That's a good question. I would still think this Adolescence show is ridiculous, but I've been biased against it before having a chance to watch it first. I just finished the first season of *Common Side Effects* and it's more balanced than I thought it would be. It's not a total teardown of the state. Are you asking about side effects of taking psilocybin and using pharmaceuticals to cure them? I can't answer that for you. I've never heard of such cases. My biggest suspicion about *Adolescence* is that it's currently the "it" thing and came out of nowhere, yet the story is about a young boy stabbing a classmate? That's not appealing at all. It's like it's being "pushed" but made to look organic. We all have "normie" friends. One of mine told me about it when we last spoke.
