Its OK, Mr Sonatime. Knowing how bad things are doesn't make them worse. It is a battlefield, and always has been. Because of the military. I'm not the first to say so. What makes me different? I will tell you things. I will tell you something now. I lived in a truck for 17 years, then delivered Meritor carriers for the MRAPS, and came 'home' to the campground, where I lived in an old trailer. Many ex-military families lived there. Many strange things happened there. An 11 yr old girl named Haley visited her g-Ma there, from time to time. One day, I saw her, and walked up to see she had a bunch of ants crawling on her shoulder, that I brushed off. It was absurd to see it! Then I helped Haley with her homework on my computer. She had failed her EOC tests. A 7th Day Adventist preacher came to the door and told me Haley could not be there alone with me. Tom's spiritual leader was a cousin of the late Dale Earnhardt. So, about 1 year later, a crazy woman came to my travel, raving like a lunatic. I knew her. She lived there many years. And told me she would blow my balls off with a handgun if Haley was ever in my trailer again. And I believed her. This young woman lived alone and slept with several dogs. I was happy to leave Hendersonville. I moved just when Rev Billy Graham's body was rolling out the mountains. GOD wants me to write about these things.

The optics of any contact with children that are not related will probably never be positive for a man and the child. It's just how things are in low/high trust society with low/high IQs. I think if I was trying to help, it would either be through the family with their consent or if it is a gift type than anonymously would do the trick. Anything else can create potential problems if only for the kid herself.

Right. I hear you, but sometimes you have to be there for children. No time to ask for permission. And it can cost cost you. I knew that! I paid the price! But this 'hesitancy' is a big mistake. Children mean nothing to govt. Now, if you have a neighbors in the collective who believe they prescribe the law? like the 7th Day Adventists, evangelical Baptists, and the atheists who sleep with dogs? This is the same law Mike Pence described, btw. He refused to be alone with a woman or something. These people are nuts! Something you should know. Haley's g-Ma sent her over for me to help with school work. Not only did Haley tell me that, she had her g-Ma's phone number on a piece of paper. I did not call her. She knew. I wasn't playing games.
