Yes, free people scare religious people like you. You need to label me so you and your religion have a reason to bring a sword with your holy book. Islam from what I have seen is for super low IQ individuals. Wild how women NEVER convert to Islam, they are always forced by the man.

I have been debating with a friend about the Middle ages yesterday, and one thing he mentioned is that the Christian Dark Ages were mainly caused by Islamic conquests like that of Iberia and the Byzantine Empire. But more importantly that Islamic Piracy became so widespread in the Mediterranean sea that it basically became a "no man's land" for commerce and trade. That Christian Europe was pretty much cut off from the entire world and under attack, and this is the reason why the Dark Ages became so infamous. I never really thought about this, so I would like to see what actual Historians think about this. Was Islam really the main cause for the Dark Ages, did it only contribute a bit, or is that not the case at all?
