The language models...this. I don't want to derail your intent, but maybe this idea... "*From time to time I use to do internet research into "hopeless" technologies. The goal isn't necessarily to build a time machine but to gather the information and data relevant to the topic to see what kind of picture emerges.*" It would seem that we need a language model that can identify nonsense....in the language...not just the ideas. The English language is next to useless these days...especially for telling the truth. We need a better language model. So rather than a time machine....a language machine. Something like that. Peace

I agree our language is not evolving quick enough. Its funny when people have the AI write emails for them but we lack a way to express being a robot talking for someone else. So they might just pretend they wrote it themselves. Very few things make it all the way to true or false. We have a very crappy vocabulary to express certainty or uncertainty. It seems entirely possible, for a machine, to mine out a range of probability for everything. But then it will heavily tend to follow mainstream ideas that might be quite nonsensical to put it mildly. It should question everything, specially people :P
