There is no God.  
  
''No one human should have that power, and only should you take someones life in defense against someone with the intention to take either your life or some innocent, undeserving and unarmed person.''  
  
It's not a matter of who should have that power; neither I nor you get to make that choice.   Anyone strong enough has that power.

Why is it dangerous?   If a man who bore and raised his son, cannot get to make that choice, who should?

Obviously, you do not understand how Roman pater familiar had worked in the early Republican Rome; only worthy men got to be the fathers.  Not all men are father material.  Early Republican Rome was nothing like U.S. today.  
  
''Also, the punishment teaches nothing to the childs growth or ability to learn, and your job as a father is to teach and guide your child in the right direction, and if you resort to murdering your child, you failed at your job as a father and clearly chose murder to enforce your will that you were unable to teach to the child when they were alive, so your inability to guide your child correctly, and the fact that killing them is a sign of a punishment for perceived incorrect behavior, you are admitting you were unable to raise your child correctly, and thus you murdering them is admitting defeat.''  
  
Some children should not be born, and yet those still born cannot become productive citizens; who would know better than their father?    He should kill them asap.
