What I find funny is that people forget that before Judaism, Christianity, and the Muslim religion, there were other Gods that humanity believed in. The Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Asians, etc., had multiple Gods and Goddesses, and that's in the Old World. Not to mention that Abraham believed in other Gods (Baal, El, etc.) before Yahweh told him to leave his family to head to Egypt, but at that time, others still believed in the old Gods. Christianity was created from Judaism. Jesus was the Messiah that the Jews were waiting for, but they didn't believe in Him, and so Christianity was born. That is why the Bible consists of the Old and New Testaments. The Muslim religion is a continuation of those religions. In the New World, before these religions were imposed on the indigenous people, they had their Gods. Now the New World worships Gods that they didn't believe in but were forced to believe in unless they wanted death. Even today, people believe in different Gods. People worship God, Jesus, Mary, and every Saint they can think of (Pantheons). We have the Mormons, Scientology, and every religion under the sun. Humanity wants to understand what they can't understand, believe in something other than themselves, and want someone to understand them and forgive them for their cruelty.
