She acted like as if she was the most faithful Christian in front of her audience.  She used me as a dumfuck to carry out her dirty work.   Many bad faith acts she had carried out, but the most decisive action was when she had me befriend a boy, a son of one of her church friends, to develop a business relationship with that friend.  Her friend's husband was trying to start a chain of electronic goods store in 70s, ROK.   She told me to become a like an older brother to him, that he was a very nice, bright boy; he was.  
  
2 years later, her friend's husband's business venture failed.   Now, my mother wanted her money back, before other creditors.  She knew the boy's grand father was wealthy.   So to put pressure on the boy's parents, as well as the grandfather, she wanted me to go to their house, and live there till they gave the money back.    So I lived there for about a month as an uninvited guest.    They could have called the cops, but that would have brought a very bad PR.  So they put off with me for a while.   When my mother realized it was not enough, she wanted me to physically block the boy, and the boy's younger sister from going to school.  Now, in retrospect, she was trying to provoke the boy's dad to physically harm me, and then used that as a leverage to blackmail the grandfather to give the money back.   I prayed to God to change my mother's mind: No use.  
  
But the family had a plan as well; they brought an older cousin, to restrain me from physically blocking them from going to school, and then threw me out, closed the door.  
  
After that, my mother started using me as a dumbfuck, whenever she had problem with her friends, when the business relationship soured later on, even trying to use me to turn on her brother, one of my uncles, a really good guy as well.  She told me that it was son's duty to defend his mother no matter what, because we are family, and family is sacred.  She always kept pestering me to go to church, otherwise my soul would burn in hell.  
  
Then, one day, she asked me to help her, and be a translator at court, during a trial; she had gotten caught while trying to shoplift women's undies at Victoria's secret, at Nordstrom.    She didn't want to use court appointed translator; he attended the same church she attended.   She didn't want her church friends finding out she had gotten caught shoplifting.  
  
I didn't judge her; I just complied as a dutiful son.    Later, she introduced one of her church friends, a fanatical (as it turned out), evangelical Christian; we had gotten along fine, till I talked about Afghanistan, this was in 80s, when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, and U.S. was helping them.   But this fanatical Christian evangelicals, Afghans were worthless infidels, and he got really abusive toward me; I kept my cool, so as not to embarrass my mother in public.   Later, when I asked her where and why she had introduced this nutjob, she told me he and his family are still her friends, and my problem with him is my problem, not hers.   She never apologized for his behavior or even introducing him to me.    Later, when another friend of hers, her roommate, the very same roommate whom she had used me to harass, a few years back, when the business relationship between them was souring, didn't like me for living in the same house, because the roommate wanted more space, my mother started turning on me.  Now, their business relationship was restored.      
  
So I left and didn't talk to her for 4 years.   I finally contacted her to let her know I was alive; she started calling me, sending me letters how much she had missed me.     So I decided to pay her a visit, for a few days, and in one of those a few days, she wanted to introduce one of her friends, a very nice family: The very same fanatical Christian evangelist who had gotten loud and abusive, during a lunch, simply because I talked about Afghanistan in positive terms for resisting communism.  
  
She had completely forgotten about the incident, 10 years later!     I had assumed their friendship drifted after the incident; I was wrong.   She had been going to vacation with them every year.    When I asked why she had been friends with people like this, while telling me to do her dirty work against people whom I had befriended because of her.   She told me that was my problem, not hers.  
  
I told her, ''Fuck you bitch, I hope you get raped and beaten to death by whoever.''   That was about 27 years ago.  
  
One good thing I learned from this sordid experience is not to take any relationship for granted, even the relationship between mothers and children.    What matters is the character of a person, not biological lottery: Neither one chooses one's family nor is chosen by one's family.   One is merely assigned a family.   The only time one chooses a family is when a man marries a woman; that's the only time.    I have had many friends, most of them became ex-friends for very good reasons, lack of character, not worthy enough.    So what I have learned is not the common bonding experience, or social relationship, not even political objectives, but character; that's the only thing that matters.   Jordan Peterson is wrong when he emphasized common bonding experiences between a man and a wife.  He hates Tate, but Tate has given many advices that I do agree with based on firsthand, secondhand, and thirdhand experience.

On this, I disagree, and based on firsthand experience no less; my father had been a business executive, and many times earlier, he had constantly on the go, coming home on regular basis, once a while.      I missed that dad, coming home, once a while, carrying gifts, and sharing stories.  
  
Later on, he had gotten ill, both diabetes and liver problem, business had failed.   So he stayed home all the time, and trying to be a 'father' to me full time; I really resented it.  I liked it better when he was a part time dad.

That is the popular perception of him by people who have not even heard what he had to say for real; I used to think like that as well, and one day I decided to listen what he really had to say, and the solution he offered, and it opened my eyes.  
  
He said, in public, you do not want a dude who cannot say, no to his wife/gf, in the matters of profound importance, not some petty, pedantic stuff, affecting both of them, in your team.   He is the only person who said this in public, no less, and I do know firsthand, secondhand, thirdhand, how true that is.  
  
A dude that like that will betray you and your team, sooner or later.  
  
He also said, you do not want a dude who does not have the money, looks, but desires 5 star woman.   A dude like that would be a piece of cake to seduce/blackmail, compromise, or 'turn'.   You do not want such a dude in your team; again, how true that is.  
  
I know a lot of people who criticize Tate, but when the government implodes, with bad dudes running around, to rape/rob/murder, would you feel safer with a dude like Tate around, or without him?  
  
I would feel safer with him around, than with those who criticize Tate.
