I believe dragons may have existed, but this topic is worth examining from multiple perspectives." Across Europe, particularly in Georgia, the UK, France, and Germany, there are numerous statues depicting warriors slaying dragons. One of the most well-known examples is the legend of St. George and the Dragon— a theme found in sculptures across Tbilisi (Georgia), Prague (Czech Republic), Barcelona (Spain), and London (UK). Historically, dragons were not merely monsters but symbols of power, chaos, or even ancient wisdom. In the West, dragons, serpents, and reptiles have often been associated with Satan. Yet, just a few centuries ago, the dragon was a powerful symbol of Asia and the East. We should explore how global power structures shifted after the 1800s and how wars and ideological changes have shaped modern society. So, were these statues meant to symbolize the slaying of a dragon? Or were they actually depicting the defeat of the Eastern powers, represented by the dragon? Perhaps these monuments do not simply commemorate the act of killing a creature, but rather signify the destruction of the old world and the birth of a new order. 👉 If dragons were merely myths, 👉 why have so many civilizations depicted them as if they were real? "I do not see this as just a legend. Across cultures, the dragon is a recurring and powerful symbol. It can be dismissed as mythology, but if we look deeper, we might uncover an even more fascinating truth hidden beneath the surface." After all, if one seeks to rewrite history, all it takes is 100–150 years for everything to be reshaped.

Carl Jung has stated that the strongest argument for archetypes and a pre-existing world religion is the prevalence of shared symbols such as dragons from before the flood. They are found plastered all over various cultures and peoples that supposedly never interacted, transmitting the thought tirelessly across thousands of miles, like (((antisemitism))) and fruit juice. Sometimes people get a really good idea separately. Sometimes, an idea has people.

dragons arent real dinosaurs real "Apparently Carl Sagan's best explanation was that humans have some leftover "reptile brain" DNA memories, which seems highly unlikely to me." \- in islamic tradition, God taught Adam everything in this world. so my theory is every inventions and discoveries we have is just us remembering it back. fractions of our past memories embedded in our DNA wayback to Adam.

I believe dragons are real. The etymology of 'Dragon' itself suggests a hidden meaning: **Drag + On** → To expand its domain by creating a **sea of fire**, to **drag and turn on.** Furthermore, to truly uncover the mysteries of history and the world, we cannot rely solely on English. We must explore ancient scripts, linguistic roots, and **Sanskrit to reveal the deeper truths buried in time**.

If you believe nephilem giants existed then it's not so much of a stretch for me personally. There's even stories of Egyptians who mummified every animal except this giant bull that was so terrifying they smashed their bones into pieces so they wouldn't be in the afterlife (something like that). I try to keep an open mind. Interesting topic for sure

When I was at community college I would sneak onto the Lewis and Clark campus, ninja my way to the back of their department and post up to study. Our library would close at 6, but I could get out of my house and be next to nature for hours reading. One night I went to take a leak in the bushes, and I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. Literally faster than I have ever reacted before, I was 5 feet back against the wall. The movement of the garter snake did awaken some ancient memory in me, and that's the only time I've ever jumped like that. I think there may be something to Sagan's idea. That being said, there are other explanations. Even in uncivilized people the symbolic mind is highly developed. Whether it be crocodiles that swim like snakes, monitor lizards that are snakelike, or actual snakes, people have used the snake/lizard as a symbol for plenty of reasons, it wouldn't be a stretch if someone just said "man it would suck if they could fly", and then his buddy says "yeah dude, what if SPIT FIRE?". And then dragons were born. A dragon is a cooler, mythical symbol than a regular snake, it may stretch back to antedeluvian times. People may have been rehashing it for ages because it's cool and vivid enough it can enter dreams, like mermaids and unicorns. OR it could've been an antedeluvian science project gone wrong and we have memories or something very real that never existed in numbers large enough to fossilize. It could've also been an exaggeration of the giant new zealand eagle that may have hunted islanders.
