What exactly are you complaining about?:) That an all-knowing God doesn’t exist? That free will doesn’t exist? Or that you actually make real choices and have to own them? What if humanity’s relationship with God was severed long ago, yet He still allows us to rebuild it, even using our knowledge of good and evil to get our attention? Or maybe the real issue is not wanting to accept any responsibility for it.

''That an all-knowing God doesn’t exist? That free will doesn’t exist?'' There is no free will, under the omniscient God. ''Or that you actually make real choices and have to own them?'' Under omniscient God, the choices had already been made a long ago, long before you are even born. God already knows whether you will be saved or not before you are even born: He doesn't need to strengthen your 'faith' in Him, to save you; either you had already been saved or damned before you were even born. This is not a free will on the part of humans, but only an illusion of free will; you think you're making a choice based on free will, but God already knows what choices you will be making before you are even born, before you have chances to practice 'free will'. ''What if humanity’s relationship with God was severed long ago, yet He still allows us to rebuild it, even using our knowledge of good and evil to get our attention? '' Do you think He already knows whether you will be saved or not? If He does, then when do you think He found out? Before you are born, or after you have made your choices based on 'free will'? Omniscient God, by definition, already knows what choices you will be making before you are born, before you have your chances to practice 'free will'. So, the Calvinists were/are right; one is saved not by faith in Him, but by His grace. God already had decided long before you are even born whether you will be saved or not; you making your 'choice', based on 'free will' are delusions on your part, mere formality on the part of God. ''Or maybe the real issue is not wanting to accept any responsibility for it.'' You do not believe in omniscient God; you believe in 'free will'. He already knows whether you will be saved or not before you are even born, before you even had a chance to make 'choices' based on 'free will'. If you believe it's the choice you make based on 'free will' for faith in Him that will save you, then not only you no longer believe in Him, but are actually claiming He is not omniscient, committing a blasphemy. One is saved by His grace, not choices one makes based on 'free will' under the idea of omniscient God.
