Well America prints its money. Other countries print their money. They all do sorta "cooperate" but only to a certain extent. All elites have their own idea about how the world should operate. America is currently useful. Maybe they will just wage war with drones in the future, then no country in particular will matter, only corporations.

Thats a better description of today but you're ignoring the past. These countries have merged together over the last 100 years. Wars are games used to entertain and manage the population, particularly those most capable people that a criminal government system would fear if they were free people. Wars are used to create and manage narratives and fill out the history books so the real stories are never told. The military families are one of the strongest and most useful tools to keep the rest of the population in check. It's an extremely advanced system and is almost nothing like the system the public has been trained to believe.
