If an elected official or the CEO of a company or the leader of a boy scout pack is a form of outsourcing I'm good with that. Outsourcing the manufacture of essential goods and services because the model is entirely for profit rather than for purpose is a serious flaw. This is why most nations nationalize their defense industry.
