Bait n Switch Arc:

In the year 2004, a catastrophic event shook the world: the global invasion by subterranean beings known as the Terrarians.

60% of the world's population perished.

After a decisive final battle led by the UN Joint Forces and a coalition of multinational superheroes known as Earth's Mightiest, humanity emerged victorious.

However, one nation stood apart: israel, the only country that did not participate in the final battle against the Terrarians.

(They justified their inaction by claiming their people's lives were more "precious" than others, leaving the rest of the world to fight in their stead.)

In the aftermath, the world struggled to rebuild. Some nations recovered swiftly, while others would never fully heal.

Israel, despite not participating in the final battle, suffered significant losses from the Terrarians, with its population reduced to just 3.3 million.

The East Wall of Jerusalem (also known as the West Bank Barrier, Apartheid Wall, or Titan Wall) was 90% destroyed.

Sensing an opportunity, Palestinians began reclaiming the land they considered occupied. Israel, unwilling to endure further losses, called upon the United States, England, Canada, and France to mobilize their respective armies in defense of its territory.

In response, the U.S. government enacted the **Chosen People Act**, which authorized the arrest of anyone who spoke out against Israel. Those detained were forcibly sent to Israel to fight against Palestinians and, effectively, to serve as cannon fodder.

Frustration boiled over among U.S. citizens. Still reeling from the devastation of the Terrarian invasion, Americans were angered by the constant flow of funds to Israel and the increasing number of their people being drafted to die in a foreign conflict.

Protests erupted across the nation. Citizens refused to pay taxes and resisted the draft. A movement began to take root, with people defiantly proclaiming, "No to Israel."

In an attempt to counter the unrest, the U.S. government granted green cards to illegal immigrants willing to "defend" Israel against the so-called "terrorist coalition."
