yes. i'm aware of that. but for the arrested people who still have loved ones or family back home? the don't have a choice but to fight. if they defected theirs and their family citizenship would be revoked for the illegal immigrants who fight for israel in hope for greencard/citizenship? they have family waiting for them in ICE concentration camp. they can't defected. those who have no one in USA are the one who able to defect to Palestine side. there is also an arc about them i called the Forsaken. people/militia/ex-SOZC who fought for israel and promised greencards/citizenship but still postponed indefinitely. They grew restless and they took matters to their own hand by seizing a part of territory in the west coast. they had to endure 2 years for greencard and 2 and a half year for US citizenship the mortality rate of SOZC (shield of Zion Corps) is 80-90% in the first year. SOZC stands for Shield of Zion Corps. It was a USA's Foreign Legionnaire Program that primarily consisted of two groups: • Illegal immigrants who were promised green cards by the US government. • 'America First' US citizens who were vocal against Israel and were arrested under the Chosen People Act. The SOZC soldiers were mainly deployed in Jericho and were positioned as the vanguard of the forces, ahead of the main Allied Forces and the IDF. The sources (my worldbuilding) indicate that the SOZC soldiers were barely trained, equipped with minimum firearms and low-quality equipment, and were essentially used as cannon fodder. Despite these conditions, most SOZC soldiers chose to remain in the program because their families were waiting at the US border, hoping to receive green cards and immigrate to the USA, especially after the Terrarian invasion. The US government seemingly used the SOZC as a way to address both the issue of illegal immigration and the suppression of the America First movement.
