Yea I think I'd do it just replace step 4 with something I felt was more useful to my motivation, or useful for my success. Or just useful for the objective, like making sure to drink 'x' amount of water daily cos I am terrible underhydrated compared to the reccomended daily water consumption, so I think making that an objective would be a nesscesary goal.
