Shrimp does taste better boiled with the shell on then peel afterwards. The flavor and juice is retained. And maybe the water could be used as stock. I have bag of frozen shrimp w/ head-on from Costco in the freezer right now… along with a 3/4 box of frozen crawfish bc I was desperate when crawfish wasn’t in season. I had some but don't really like frozen. But this would be a good reason to test it out and get rid of them haha
