Many scholars believe the "antichrist" will be born of the tribe of dan and born in Babylon, but I dont believe he has to be Jewish based on Scripture. Turkey/Russia or having some Hunnish origin isn't out of the question. He could also be Roman or represent the new Rome referenced in the book of Daniel, which is what the vatican/london/DC seems to be now. Some said Obama and some are saying Trump. One interesting thing to note about Gog and Magog, they are mentioned specifically in Revelation 20 and Ezekiel 38. Both of these are in reference to a time at around year 7000 (after the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ during the millennial reign). This is when Satan will be released from prison after being in chains for 1000 years. Ezekiel 36 talks about a gathering of Israel and there being peace for them and no idol worship for them anymore. Right now they have a huge Muslim golden dome temple sitting on the jerusalem holy temple mount, so Ezekiel 36 is for a future time during the 1000 year reign of Christ. Before then is desolations and Jerusalem is getting leveled to the ground. So Revelation 20 and Ezekiel 38 are important, but we are closer to Revelation 1-6 soon starting, which is before the gog and magog war, before the 1000 year reign of Jesus, before 7 bowl judgments, before 7 trumpet judgments, before 7 seal judgments. The bad stuff hasn't even remotely begun!
