Ofc it was, they let it happen to resume their genocide. It was part of their mowing operation which takes place every 5 years to cause total destruction and killing of Palestinians and whatever weapons they could get their hands on in that period. Imagine a system which can detect missiles moving faster than the speed of sound and destroying them in mid air is unable to detect paragliding human beings at less than a tenth of speed of sound.

Ground sensors, eyes on the "border" 100% of the time, moving two IDF divisions out was it the day before or two, sensors so sensitive that a cat or maybe smaller would set them off, warnings from bordreing statesbu hang gliders can float no problem.

I agree. Israel is a country that has SOOOOOOOO much surveillance that you could not pick up a bunch of people flying in on things. The puzzle pieces just don't fit.
