Implied divinity aside, I agree with you, all of who I am comes from what I can sense and recall, test and measure which is only based on what a human can sense, all of what a human can sense is the past, even the perception of the present is in the past, time itself isn't real, there is only the present and the only part of a human that is possibly truly in the present is it's minds eye. Any way we measure reality is the measurement of the past against the past except one way, I don't want to go into too much detail because I may have a possible theory of everything I am 99% sure its wrong and that I have missed something, yet I don't want to risk me landing on that 1% and some thought thief getting the credit, because I could use the money.(not you OP, you seem to have honour)
