On a side note Chicago deep dish is overrated. I do love me an artisan pizza though

I've never had Chicago deep dish but I'd put flatbreads on the slightly more tolerable end of the spectrum

Sourdough! and yes I agree, I don’t like doughy anything. I guess I’m not a big fan of any of the big brand pizzas, but I’ve had homemade and owner operated, brick fired, hand spun, artisan pizzas I’d slaughter a village for. I guess it the flavor and quality of food could boil down to how much love, care and pride goes into the preparation. come to think of it, that applies to pretty much most things.
