Well, yes, I said it that way for brevity, though it does kind of reflect my attitude towards it. Of course it’s Christ who does that work. I know a lot about the faith, grew up “in it,” just never had it for myself. And whatever spiritual organ responsible for faith seems entirely unresponsive. But hey, I keep showing up, for my family if nothing else.

Gotcha, and right, what I meant by that kinda is there is understanding something intellectually, and there is knowing it deep in your heart. If you feel as though you are trying to force it and failing. That's a reflection of the heart faith. I don't know you to know what you do or don't know intellectually, but words are power. God created the entire world by His Word, and that Word is Jesus Christ! (John 1)
