Modern catholicism isn't even Christian lol Its telling that catholics always refer to themselves as catholic and not christian "Indulgences", asking a preist to mediate what the Bible clearly says should be a 1 on 1 relationship with God, praying to dead people. All bright red flags in my spirit

"Whoever's sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whoever's sins you retain are retained," - John 20:23, gave the disciples the authority to forgive sins also known as confession. “Of course I pray for the dead. The action is so spontaneous, so all but inevitable, that only the most compulsive theological case against it would deter me. . . . At our age the majority of those we love best are dead. What sort of intercourse with God could I have if what I love best were unmentionable to Him?” - C.S. Lewis a well known Anglican. So by your assumption, all Catholics are going to hell? And what domination are you? Also lastly, there is no such thing as "online" church. That is a ted talk with music in the background and does not glorify God. God and peace be with you brother!

By your logic regarding john 20:23, priests can override the blood of Jesus by "retaining" someone's sins? Pray "for" is not pray "to" Catholics pray "to" the dead I see catholics pray to mary much more often than to the Father, even though Jesus himself taught us to pray to the father Jesus is very clear on the requirements for salvation brother Denominations are divisions within the church, which paul warned us against. I dont have much of an opinion on the online church thing, its not like it's a salvation issue anyway

Retaining is kept by the individual who does not confess their sins. "God is the God of the living, not the dead" Matthew 22:32, "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive." 1 Corinthians 15:22. Our brothers and sisters who are in Christ are not dead. As far as Catholics praying to Mary more often than the Father, as a former Methodist/Agnostics this is more a perception than reality. Just curious as what denomination you attend and its obviously a salvation issue to you since you said Catholics aren't Christian.
