Yes, Eastern Orthodox :) That is what they would say. Although, coming from an Eastern Orthodox tradition and generally theologically accept most of the pillars of Eastern Orthodoxy, being myself part of non-denominational Protestant church I have something more lenient and open minded approach where I believe there is a universal church or believers which I would interpret as catholic - gr: Catholicos. I would interpret Apostolic in more mainstream view - which is Eastern Orthodox and Catholic - hence the apostolic succession.

As a Catholic, I would love to see more non denoms leave and enter Eastern Orthodox. As in the Catholic view, they are the only other Christian religion that technically has a church. Besides the few differences that we hold with the Eastern Orthodox, we have many similarities and I love them as separated brothers. I attended Eastern Catholic Divine Liturgies when I can, as they are former Eastern Orthodox, but that have came into the fold of the Catholic Church. I greatly pleases me when I see protestants join as I know it means they’re that much closer for coming into the fulness and tradition of the faith.

I agree. The problem I always had with the Protestant theology in general is abandoning the tradition of the Church fathers, which should be a way to interpret the Scripture. That is why we have a plethora of different confessions and divisions; everyone interprets the scripture in their way. Mainline protestants, like Lutherans and Episcopalians, are even further away since they abandoned their confessions and now have LGBT+ pastors using lower textual criticism to conform their message to gender and identity politics and critical theory...

If you believe the connection that Christ changed Simon’s name to Peter, that Peter means Rock and that Christ said that Peter was the Rock upon which his church would be built. That Peter is the first Pope, first Vicar or Christ in the Catholic Church. Then, Yes. One holy Catholic and Apostolic church. However, the Bible is not the verbatim word of Christ. Particularly, the New Testament is 4 seemingly similar Christiana, collected and agreed upon over hundreds of years, over hundreds of translations from the authors’ original tongues. If you think of it this way, then it IS possible to have more than one Christian church.
