 Watched the movie yesterday then picked up the book. Always watch the movie first if you can. The movie is always worse. So if you like it, the book will be better. That way you get 2 good experiences instead of reading the book, then seeing how they butchered it in the movie. One of the main characters has a wife of 19. They met when she was 16 & have been married 3 years. Later in the book you find out that he is more than twice her age. 😯 I read the book because the movie didn’t give me the answers I was looking for. I don’t think the book will either but I don’t regret either one I presume.

IMO, all of Cormac McCarthy's books are fantastic; however, he is *not* for the faint of heart.
